"Giants full of surprises on final cutdown day: Arguably the most stunning move the Giants made Saturday was their decision to waive Jay Alford whose sack of Tom Brady in the waning seconds of Super Bowl XLII helped seal the victory over the Patriots."

New Raiders D-line coach Mike Waufle brought one of his boys from his time with the Giants to Oakland. NY sez he's an interior pass-rush NT & they needed a run guy. Waived on Saturday, signed on Sunday, in Oakland on Monday. Raiders will probably bring John Henderson in on running plays & use Jay Alford on pass plays.
