For those who forget.....like our CIA instructing their secrect police how to torture their people. Remember the ruthless leader before that one we put in power. Just to save British Petroleum.
Sorry HCF, but mass murder of Persians from something 30 odd years ago is immoral and evil.

Besides the our CIA's overthrow of the democratically elected head of government in Iran in 1953, putting the hated Shah in his place while his secret police( trained and aided by our CIA) murdered and tortured thousands of Iranians:

•1987 - U.S. militarily supported Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi war with Iran.

•1988 - U.S. ship Vincennes, stationed in the Persian Gulf, shot down a commercial jetliner, killing 290 Iranian civilians.

•1998 - President Clinton bombed an aspirin factory in Sudan killing a number of innocent civilians.

•European armies, rather than native peoples, drew many of the borders in the ME, North Africa and southwest Asia.

• The Saudi government, the Kuwaiti government, and the Afghani government are actively supported with foreign aid by the U.S. despite the fact that they routinely oppress their people.

•The war in Iraq since 2003 that has resulted in a minimum of 97,000 civilian deaths as well as the displacement of more than a million civilians—none of who had anything to do with 9/11. That's payback for 3,000 American deaths.

• The war in Afghanistan since 2001 that has resulted in a minimum of 6,000 civilian deaths.

Our imperialistic FP continues under Barack Obama. There is no difference between the two parties. It's a left-wing progressive FP.

We know the cause of Islamic terrorism is simply burning a Koran Mr. Obama (http://www.lewrockwell.com/cox/cox17.1.html)

Ah, the Cold War. That little invention that progressives made up to increase the role of the federal government in the Hamiltonian tradition. Lincoln was a rapist!

How does the libertarian imagination not see that free markets, the exchanging of goods between peoples, and the promotion of that, not lead to certain conflicts between nations? This is the Cold War, right? And our thinking of world events is that in order to promote economic freedom, we need to be active about it, and active in the curtailing of actors who curtail it! It's not a biological, natural occurence. Capitalism is not written on the heart that everyone's conscience bends towards.
