It appears that our boy is still pushing his so called “Dream Act”, read that by its real name AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS!

Realizing that he has no chance of getting a “comprehensive immigration reform bill” passed, he has set about doing it one piece at a time, and in a rather underhanded way.

He will try coming through the back door by attaching it as an amendment to the military spending bill so he can point the finger at those who vote against it and yell “see they are against our troops!”

Reid’s boss, Barry Soetoro/Obama made a campaign promise to pass comprehensive immigration reform so Harry is trying any way he can to push this building block piece of the pie forward before the election.

The only reason to push immigration reform is to pander to the Hispanic voters (I wonder how many illegal immigrants vote in our elections now?) so that soon the Democrats will be the only party just by sheer weight of numbers, that will eventually make the Democrats the power party forever, read that communism, socialism, or whatever else you want to call it, I CALL IT COMPLETE LOSS OF LIBERTY!!!

I wrote a column a couple of weeks ago entitled “More Slither Than a Bag of Snakes”, and for my money this just adds one more brick to that wall of accusations against Harry (the curmudgeon in chief) and that pack of snakes in Washington D.C. who still are not listening to the people.

Harry: Why should people who have no respect for our laws be rewarded for breaking our laws by granting them amnesty and a path to citizenship?

I have no problem with legal immigration so back where you came from, learn the language make application the legal way and then get in line.

The only benefit this passage will achieve is to Harry Reid’s political career, he needs all the votes he can beg, borrow or steal as his race against Sharon Angle is down to the wire neck and neck, and he may soon be unemployed (please G-d let it be so).

The folks at La Raza (a pro immigrant advocacy group) seem to be of the opinion that passage of the “Dream Act” would build the momentum for “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”.

I am still waiting for just one politician who can step up and define for us the term “Comprehensive” immigration reform, what the hell is that supposed to mean anyway?

Some points about the Dream Act. This is the stuff they don't tell show or tell you when they feed you the story.

No. 1: Not valedictorians -- or even necessarily good students.
Any illegal alien who can manage to meet the minimum requirements to graduate from high school or get an equivalent degree meets the first test.

No. 2: Primarily NOT teens or college students.
The Senate DREAM bill allows you to be up to 35 years old!
The House bill has no upper limit.

No. 3: Don't have to have come when a child.
An illegal alien can get this amnesty even if he didn't arrive in the U.S. until age 15. That's right -- he can spend his first 15 years learning the language and culture of his home country and developing all kinds of ties there and then come to the U.S. and later claim need for a DREAM amnesty because he supposedly has no country to go back to.
I was on a national Hispanic cable TV show last week on which a videotaped profile was run of a well-heeled-looking woman from another country bragging in front of New York City scenery that a few years ago she had illegally overstayed her tourist visa when her son was 15 so he could go to a U.S. college and pursue a U.S. career. DREAM would reward her and all the rest of people in the world who might think like her.

No. 4: Bill is open to gigantic fraud.
The bill is written so that the 2, 3 or 4 million illegal-alien applicants only have to CLAIM to meet the criteria. They don't have to PROVE anything.
The government has to build a case, one illegal at a time, and prove the claims on the application are false in order for the illegal alien to lose the amnesty. Can you imagine how many times that is likely to happen?

No. 5: DREAM does nothing to stop the behavior that put teenagers into their situation. It leaves the jobs magnet in place.
This amnesty has no enforcement measures at all. It allows employers to continue to hire illegal aliens, enticing millions more parents to bring their children here illegally and stay long enough for them to become high school students and demand another amnesty in a few years.

No. 6: DREAM leaves intact the chain migration system that will allow these 2.1 million illegal aliens to eventually send for millions more relatives.
Rather quickly, the amnestied illegal aliens would be able to get green cards for their parents. And millions of additional relatives would be able to start planning their applications and getting in line. This starts with adult siblings and moves on to aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
A large percentage of the illegal aliens in the U.S. today are extended family members of the illegal aliens who got amnesty in 1986 and also those in the six more-limited amnesties in the 1990s.

I cant stand that prick. He puts shit like this into a very import bill, trying to sneak it through. Thats BS. That shit needs to be stripped out. No way does that have anything to do with a Defense bill.

Reid is the biggest scumbag in Senate. He put it in this bill so he could say "Senator x is voting against national security".

He's a toxic radical liberal.

I hope Reid does the country a favor and goes out like Kennedy, Murtha and Byrd.

I am in no way condoning what Reid is doing but the Scumbags in congress do this crap all the time. This is one of the things that irratates me about the sleazy way politics work. I know there have been things that slipped through that I supported but it is still wrong.

There should be a rule that prevents this kind of sleazy behavior.

This is a good example of why politicians want control of the internet. Without the internet we'd never know about this kind of thing.
