I'm in KC. The car was in shitty condition which you can't really see from the video.

When I was sixteen, I desperately wanted to get one of those car horns that played songs. I saved up money for it and researched the best music-playing car horns and yearned for the day that I could drive into the school parking lot and play Dixie with one push on the steering column, but I could never pull the trigger on the deal. Looking back on it now, I think I made the right decision.

My phone was mounted to the whindshield. All I had to do was click record. No danger.

This. That style is nothing new. It's been and gone already, really.

Yeah, you did. I got one of those for Christmas once, it was pretty ghey. I ended up hooking up the loudspeaker from it to a PA output on a CB, now THAT was good for teh lolz.

What songs did it play? Was it one of those fancy 50-song horns, or did it just have one?

Assuming that it's some car with huge ass wheels...

That's pretty big with all the student athletes around here. The Crown Vic is the standard car to do it with.

What irks me about these celebs and athletes is that they have sooo much money and they all by the same fucking cars with the same basic, shitty mods.

They're all the same. And when they do mod them, they look fucking retarded, like DMAC's.

It had a bunch of songs, I don't recall exactly how many though. Maybe it was 50.

shit bug i have a buddy that has a 72 Impala with 26's on it and he had to do absolutely NOTHING to that car for them to fit. the car is pretty cherry too.

i have an old caddy that has 64,000 orig miles that i have 20's on. it isnt hurting a thing and its pretty much the only thing i can do to the car to mod it and feel comfortable with because i can take those wheels off and then the car is still original. hell i still have the BELTS that came on it from the factory, hoses too.

This thread reminded me, anyone else watch Pawn Stars and get the sense that the guy who restores their project cars is Jesse James' iteration of Frank Stallone/Don Swayze?

Not literally, just a whiff of a less charismatic 'sibling' in the same industry.

Eh, I'm a purist when it comes to classic cars, I think they're best appreciated in their original condition. It depends on the vehicle as well, that Cutlass in the video isn't really anything special, but if someone did that to a 442 or a GTO....:grr:

It wasn't even tastefully done. Closer look & you find yourself waving back at the body & paint. All the chrome was junk as well. It was pretty apparent all the money went into the wheels & tires.

From the Rivee.

I'm runnin' 16's on my 'cuda & that's about my max. I might go 17's but there'd have to be plenty of rubber & not just rubber bands. But no way in hell I'd go higher than that.

Wagon wheels & classic/muscle is a bad, bad idea.
