Next week-
Chicago is at NY Giants. Giants win this one 27-19
Pittsburgh plays Baltimore at home. Ravens win 23-21
Chiefs have a bye. First time KC is favored all year.

Just started partaking in the KC Kool-Aid™ today, but it tastes good.

2013 update: Chiefs don't lose until November.

2) No way Baltimore can score 23 points against Pitt and vice versa

Possibly. People have overwhelmingly doubted KC, yet they've been wrong. Giants do suck, just not as bad as Chicago next week.

Baltimore winning is part wishful thinking, but I'm not going to predict a 9-5 Ravens victory.

If we beat the Colts, this team will probably be the 2001 Bears/2008 Titans. A team with a young, ascending defense, a good running game, and a game manager QB.

The Giants suck and if the Ravens can only hang 10 on the Jets, what makes you think they can hang 23 on Pittsburgh?

The Steelers are the best team in the NFL right now. I am not sure that they lose to Baltimore at home.

The Bears have been lucky, but do you think that the Giants are the ones to knock them off? The only way I see it is if this is a let down game.

I'd tap the break a bit on that, the Bears got a bit lucky last night and are now 3-0. Have you seen their upcoming schedule?

@ Giants
@ Panthers
Seahawks
Redskins
bye
Bills

That is through week 9... really, they could be 8-0 at that point. They then play the Vikings and Dolphins, which should be tougher games for them, but they have a real shot at 8-0 with the way those teams are playing. I don't think KC makes it past their next two games without a loss (or two).

This is the NFL.

I fully expect the Giants to circle the wagons and knock off the Bears when everyone expects the opposite. NY is not nearly as bad as they looked last week.

I am not saying it 'won't' happen.... I just don't think it will.

Now, this certainly could happen. The reality is that of the unbeaten teams, only the Chiefs have absolutely zero chance of losing.

Agreed. NY is better than they are currently playing, and the Bears will take an "L" this upcoming week.

The Steelers game is my upset of the week. In the NFL, there are no givens.

To have the Chiefs beat the Colts the week after will inspire me to move from sippin' the KC Kool-Aid to swimming in it a la Scrooge McDuck.

Rooting for the Ravens and Giants feels wrong, but if the Chiefs stand alone undefeated after tomorrow night, I'm placing a large bet on KC beating Indy (with the inevitable -8 spread).

KC @ Indy will be the biggest game for the Chiefs since, well, the last time KC was @ Indy for the 2006 playoff game. No other game in the last couple of years have meant much, unless you wanted KC to drop games for draft position.

I don't really put too much into being the last undefeated team, but had a poll been conducted before the season began that asked respondants to list who would be the last team without a defeat, KC would have not been in the top 29.

Just a little inside info....coaches often talk up their next opponent so that their team doesn't take them lightly.... and so the opponent can't play the 'disrespect' card in the locker room.

Most people get this wrong, so I'm trying to bust your chops, but when used in a sentence with fruit, it's spelled "pearity". It's one of those odd rules that makes English so unique.
