Found this...never worn. Does it look authentic and how much would you pay?

Let me rephrase:

No, it's not authentic. As the owner of an authentic, it doesn't even look authentic.

I wouldn't pay anything for it, but I'm not the one buying it. You have to decide what it's worth to you.

The give away is the bottom tag. There is no XL - it would have the jersey size. Second, it would also not have the Chiefs helmet nor even a Chiefs logo on it. FAKE I would pay $0 for it.

give you 20$ for it...

You can also tell there aren't any stitches on the numbers. Hell, even my $40 knockoffs have stitched numbers. :D

aren't authentics covered in holes?

looks to me like one of the replithentic jerseys. replica/'authentic' combo (the outside of the numbers is stitched, the inside is not--it's likely screen-printed (paint on the other part of the number).

they retail for around 80 bucks or so (IIRC), but you can get cheap knockoffs for 40 bucks (cheaper, actually) from china.

Yeah, it looks very similar to the DT jersey I got last year (they don't make authentics anymore). Mine has stitched numbers, but the numbers themselves are a kind of flexible plastic or something similar. It's hard to tell, but I'd bet that's the same. I paid around $100 for mine I think.

So, it's got a good chance of being a "real" Reebok product, but it's not made like a true authentic.

yeah, I got a len dawson replithentic from ebay (the pictures weren't very clear, and it was dirt cheap: 14 bucks shipped) a while back. it's alright, but doesn't get worn that much.

I guess I knew it wasn't "Authentic" for the price I paid. But it is red and the quality seems a step up from the cheapo Walmart screen jerseys. This is new, but was a gift from years ago and not worn. Paid $30.

Authentic Aushmentic. Nobody cares as long as you like it. Just look at all the people at Royals games with their Affeldt jersey shirts.

are you not able to buy a custom jersey with anyone's name anymore? just curious, because I have seen people say they can't find certain players(Delaney, Thomas, etc). Why not just go to the site where you can pick name/# and enter in the player you want if they don't offer it as a choice?

Next jersey I get I'm going to do just that. get a Chief from the past that you never see anyone wearing.

Yup, you still can.

The only minor problem with doing that is that all the jerseys are modern styles, so it wouldn't technically look like a jersey the guys had worn a long time ago.
