That was my thought.

I thought that rule said you just couldn't dive towards the legs after being blocked to the ground (it's the Palmer rule as much as the Brady rule). Getting blocked into his legs while you're trying to plant hardly qualifies.

Most Intentional Grounding penalties happen exactly the same. There is no flag initially, then after a few seconds the ref throws it.

Most of the time, that doesn't get called, so in that sense it's a bad call. However, in my opinion, any time you intentionally throw it out of bounds while in the pocket should be intentional grounding, so in that sense, I don't mind the call.
