SD is losing their season through special teams. They should be cruising toward an AFC championship game. Special teams is all coaching. You don't have to be great at ST, all you have to do is not be a disaster. Total coaching fail.

It's amazing that they've traded away starting and contributing players like Hillis, Scheffler and Smith for basically nothing in return.

Trading Smith was unbelievably asinine, especially after giving up picks to draft him last year and trading him for a 5th the following year.

It makes me wonder when you watch these games. McCoy has done well but he's 14-19 for 174 yards. Very Cassel-like numbers. They are running the ball and playing defense. And they are obliterating the team with the best record in the league.

This year is so watered down... I don't know if it'll be the Chiefs but you might see some real upside down stuff in the playoffs.

I didn't say that, so stuff it. But this year has been the complete opposite of last year. Last year was entirely about putting up large passing numbers. So far this year having a huge day through the air hasn't been nearly as important.

McCoy's a rookie. Cassel is not.

McCoy has been a playmaker, scrambling and making plays.

I think we're all familiar with Cassel's play under pressure.

I'm not going to state that Colt McCoy is an amazing QB after three NFL starts but it *appears* that he has a huge upside. He's playing smart, making plays and not hurting his team.

And, he's only 24 years old. I'm hoping that someday, the Chiefs will be in that position.

It's not only that. The whole time he's been the Vikings HC, he's had inconsistent QB play(except last year). If he was brought in to be an offensive guy, Jackson should have been starting by now or they should have drafted a starting QB.

Start with nothing? This is a stupid conversation. First off, Frazier hasn't been promoted. Secondly, if you ARE a hot prospect that's likely to be hired as a head coach, why would you want to take over the trainwreck that is the Vikings?

They're dysfunctional, they're old in many spots and need a roster and attitude overhaul. There are constant rumors of the team leaving Minnesota and the stadium and facilities suck.
