Kevin Curtis ready to return from testicular cancer
Posted by Michael David Smith on November 11, 2010, 8:06 PM EST

Former Rams and Eagles receiver Kevin Curtis has missed the entire 2010 season while recovering from testicular cancer. Now he’s fully recovered and eager to sign with an NFL team.

“Kevin is ready. He’s feeling great,” Ryan Tollner, Curtis’ agent, told Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com.

Curtis had surgery on September 23 to remove a cancerous testicle, but he said his prognosis was good and that “I’m pretty fortunate, really.”

After catching 77 passes for 1,110 yards in 2007, Curtis was slowed by knee problems in 2008 and 2009, but Tollner said Curtis’s knee is now 100 percent, and Curtis is anxious to help some team make the playoffs.

No need to add another WR.
We don't have enough balls to go around.

Yeah I was thinking some sort of ball joke would be in order. Maybe something about his ball skills.

FTR I don't want him.

It's good to see him teste'ing the market, though.

At his age, he probably only has a half a bag of tricks, sadly.

in all honesty it wouldn't hurt at this point. He won't cost a bundle and he's not a problem character wise. Shit and to get a fresh guy half way through the season would pay dividends. Oh and it wouldn't hurt Cassel.

I don't think Pioli has the balls to pay him. We don't need a locker room cancer anyways.

LMAO

I absolutely guarantee that if he's healthy (knee and cancer), he'd make an immediate impact with the Chiefs this season.

I forgot all about that. I wonder how much that would have cost Sammy Knight if that happened last week.

If he can sack up and go over the middle, bring him in for a look. You know he's hungry to get some of those balls he's been missing the last couple of years.
