So Berry blew up a fullback and a halfback in preseason.

Last week he was too quick for a fullback and the league's leading rusher.

I'll forgive any of these rookies for making mistakes. They're all going to do it at one point or another. Berry had some big whiffs in coverage early on, but that's not a big deal.

Berry, McCluster, Arenas, Moeaki, Lewis, Asomoah...the future could be really fucking bright with these guys.

where was he when Jacoby Ford would run straight for 8938491 yards and hope for the best on a jump a ball?

was Berry on a coffee break? Could have really used his talents then.

He was doing his assignment. Which was usually blitzing.

The deep pass in the 4th Q he was protecting deep, but 3 other guys were in the Ford area so there was no point in him being up any closer.

On the OT pass to Ford he was playing a shallow zone by the Tight End. Jon McGraw was the deepest safety.

I think you mean Soren Petro/FatlockThere were a lot of doubters at the beginning of the season when Berry was making rookie mistakes.

They called it being "concerned" but in reality they're fickle idiots who don't trust their own football knowledge to make an accurate assessment about the kind of career Berry will have. The fact that he's already making veteran plays like this in his rookie year is a great sign- the mistakes he's making are totally correctable with more game playing experience and one entire offseason of hard work with his teammates and trainers. And no, Bernard Pollard doesn't have the physical skills or the brains to do what Berry will do.

He's going to be a top 3 safety in this league and a 4-5-6+ year Pro Bowler.
