I have a very long list:

I'm very thankful for the peace in my life that God has given me. I'm also very thankful for my awesome wife of 11 years and 3 beautiful children. I'm thankful for my job(s) and the ability God gave me to take care of my family. I'm thankful for my house, my friends, my church, the Chiefs, ChiefsPlanet, most of you :D , and the many blessings in my life.

I'm VERY thankful for my country...and in particular, the men and women who give up so much so that I can have so much.

Thanksgiving always marks the time of year during which my wife and I had our first date in 1997. We met sometime in Sept of 97 and didn't see one another until the Friday before Thanksgiving. Had our first date the day after Thanksgiving and here we are. I couldn't be happier with my life. Yeah, we struggle with things but that's life. I'm very grateful and content with our many blessings.

Heh. She picked Macaroni Grill because it was close to the theater. We attended but didn't see Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Couldn't tell you a single thing about it. We were pretty intrigued with one another. Still are most of the time. I got pretty lucky this time around.

Not really great food. Don't think I ever spent that little on a meal for the remainder of our courtship (which was 5 years). It's not awful but probably about #50 on the list of Italian cuisine choices for me.
We lived in Houston at the time. But we've also done a memorable carriage ride in the plaza. It was about 20 degrees out and the carriage had a flat spot on one wheel. It was awesome. Click clock click clock DUNK click clock click clock DUNK... much more memorable than had the carriage not had a flat wheel.

We were pretty intrigued with one another. Still are most of the time.

THIS!!! One of big secrets to a great marriage especially when God is at the center of your life and marriage. The "pursuit" or in Phobia's term "intrigue" that unselfishly seeks out your spouse's emotional and physical needs first
and not because your arm is being twisted by "false guilt" to do this.

But because when God is at the center of everything in our lives is when "giving" truly comes from the heart of God that lives in our hearts who love God thus the "intrigue and pursuit" of our loved ones will never wane.

Excellent job Phobia!! Keep it up!!

We can never stop being interested, pursuing and putting others first when God is FIRST!!
