I would rather have Cassel over Palmer for sure, no doubt about it...at least Cassel has heart and WANTS to be out there and isn't a fucking poor man's Drew Bledsoe...

and at this point Cassel is better than Sanchez but Sanchez probably has more upside, too...

haha

ok bud

however you want to spin it

that's what everyone wanted to say last year when Carson "I suck ballsack" Palmer had 2 or 3 4th quarter game winning drives...

yet the reason he was ever in those predicaments was because of the way he played for 55 minutes in the 1st place...much like Sanchez this year...

and beating vulnerable defenses in the last 5 minutes do nothing to impress me...

and I give him NO credit for Cleveland or Houston wins...as it took him 75 minutes for Santonio to make an amazing play against Cleveland...and Houston decided to let the Jets have another possession after a 'what should have been' game ending pick by Sanchez...

so really

the dude has played exponentially worse than Cassel this year yet he's a FRANCHISE QB somehow!?

Yes he was. He was pretty damn good for the Jets and Browns I believe.

Nothing super flashy but pretty solid.

He was no Drew Bled So Much He Needed A Transfusion though.

I think Bledsoe could have had those stats, but I think he decided to go to his ranch instead of to his sofa in New Jersey like ole Testicles.... I will always hate Testeverde.

Bledsoe became a freaking statue. He made the right call. Nice career, nothing to be embarrassed about.

They should call Palmer "side streets". You know, no passing allowed.

Nope... one thing I will remember about Vinny was his feeble attempts at excusing his god-awful interceptions, including the "Color blind" garbage.

Ohh and yeah that game sucked. Every team should be allowed to host a thanksgiving day game.

I'll never forget the relief when Bledsoe got knocked out. This first series Brady played I thought to myself "My God he has pocket presence. He's better!"

Any team that loses to the Jets in the playoffs
should have to change their colors to lavender and pink
and a nice double rainbow on the helmets

haha

ok bud

however you want to spin it

that's what everyone wanted to say last year when Carson "I suck ballsack" Palmer had 2 or 3 4th quarter game winning drives...

yet the reason he was ever in those predicaments was because of the way he played for 55 minutes in the 1st place...much like Sanchez this year...

and beating vulnerable defenses in the last 5 minutes do nothing to impress me...

and I give him NO credit for Cleveland or Houston wins...as it took him 75 minutes for Santonio to make an amazing play against Cleveland...and Houston decided to let the Jets have another possession after a 'what should have been' game ending pick by Sanchez...

so really

the dude has played exponentially worse than Cassel this year yet he's a FRANCHISE QB somehow!?

ooook, right

Exponentially worse? That's just stupid. Again, you have a fundamental inability to separate fantasy stats from reality. Cassel is an exponentially better fantasy QB this year, I guess.

Of course, you can't bash Sanchez in the clutch and praise Cassel, who has routinely done nothing, save for taking us down against Buffalo on his fifth attempt.

That's duplicitous horseshit.

USC QBs. Palmer. Leinfart. Cassel. Sanchez. What does it say when Sanchez is the best of the bunch? Its says that USC is The Gong Show of QBs.

Pretty much.

Every QB has a comeback here or there. But Sanchez also helped the Jets get blanked a few weeks ago against the Packers. He led a comeback against the worst secondary in the NFL. Oooooo scary.

Anyone who thinks Sanchez is having a good or great season is either a draftubator or a moron. Chose which one you are.

Marvin Lewis should be fired this morning. Too much talent on paper to keep losing like they do.

For the record, Cassel >> Palmer.

I can.. I will take Freeman over the overhyped Sanchez. If Sanchez played for a team like the Jaguars he would never get any attention.

The problem is that you are comparing a guy that had one year as a starter in the NFL to a guy that had one year as a starter in the NCAA.

The guy with one year in the NFL should be ahead of that one year starter in the NCAA in the developmental curve, because he had three years to learn under one of the QBs who is considered the best in the league, and with the coaching staff that is widely considered the best.

What we find is that they are both on nearly on the same level, but one has shown an ability to make plays late in games to lead his team to wins.

The other, not so much.

This year.
Sanchez in the 4th quarter:

64.3 passer rating, 44/92 (completing 48% of his passes), 2 TDs, and 2 INTs.
