I loved Paul McCartney

I would love to see Chicago

Might be neat to see a contest with High School bands or college bands and the winner or 2 get to do half-time

Instead of ragging on everyone's choice, post your favorite

Kanye West tries to make every performance as big and flashy as the Super Bowl, so he'd definitely come up with something insanely entertaining for the halftime show.

Regular halftime.
15 minutses.

Spend the roughly 10 minutes that is usually spent on halftime shows between commercials showing highlights from the first half and breaking down what needs to be done by both teams in the second half.

Then get back to the fucking game.

Something other than some old washed up bands....

They try to please everyone and end up pleasing no one. They pick a moldy oldie who appeals to a wide demographic, or a middle-of-the-road act without much shock value, or a bland "edgy" act that's about as non-edgy as you can get.

To be honest, though, after U2's halftime show in the Pats/Rams SB in 2001, I think they probably should've just retired the whole idea. That was an "end thread" type of event.

But if they're gonna have a halftime show, there's only one band and one song to do it justice:

I normally don't pick on grammar but, holy hell. What is "hadn't of"? A lot of people say "hadn't of" instead of "hadn't have" but, in this case, that makes no sense either; it's simply "hadn't (been seated)".

Which reminds me of Gilbert Gottfried at the Comedy Central Roast of Hugh Hefner, when he said he wanted to be called by his Muslim name of Haznt Bin-Laid. :D

You shouldn't of went there.

All good suggestions, but how 'bout a regular old 12-13 minute halftime with no show.?

The only people who think that it's "hadn't of" are those who are misunderstanding what they hear other people say. People use a sort of double contraction of "hadn't have;" they are saying "hadn't've."

Also useful is the ol' "hadn'ta."

"We're Stars" cannot be performed ever again. The song isn't the same without Dio. RIP

Though, come to think of it, those bands could definitely perform the song that you spelled in your post.
