I just wanted to take a minute and express the heartfelt gratitude the soldiers and I share for the care packages you all sent to us. The soldiers were instantly uplifted by the kind gesture. The Kansas City Chiefs have the best fans on the face of the Earth, bar none, and this is an example of why. Thank you all so much for your kindness and support. Attached are a couple of pics (I am not in them, I am holding the camera) of the soldiers with the goodies. Again, THANK YOU ALL and GO CHIEFS! :thumb:

PS: May we utterly destroy the cheatin' Donx on Sunday.

Who's collecting and where can I send stuff. Getting packages of stuff while deployed was the best. I'm not in the military any more but I would gladly send a package to someone.

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=217140

Basically I'm paying all the expenses of shipping and handling. I get the goodies and box em up and ship to the troops. 100% of all donated money goes into the boxes for the troops. 100%. I cover the paypal costs, shipping etc. Not a single penny donated goes for overhead. Every cent goes to the troops.

I've had people send me a check and use paypal. Either way is kosher. Pm me if interested.

I hope I helped, and hope I can do more in the future. I'd love to help pack boxes at some point. Hmmmm, I have a son who's going to be looking for an Eagle project soon, this sounds like an interesting idea....

Good ideas!

This time of year always meant more for my men, and I can tell you that we can't ever do enough from our end. Every watch/patrol/duty that these men, and women, endure is something that they'll never forget. They do it for us (ultimately), but they do it just as much for the men who are next to them. Small unit cohesion!! It's hard for people to understand, but it's good, and it's pure. And what we do here will be appreciated. They will do their job, I know this. It's not easy, it never has been, but it's one that only those who are there will understand (battle by battle, Op by Op, mission by Mission). My time was as different as it was the same!! The difference is the date, the similarities are the brotherhood and commitment God, country, and fellow warrior. All of this is past down from one warrior to the next. Thank God we have always had men and women who have been willing to take point - they have earned deserve our unyielding respect, and above all they have mine. I love them all...
