Not sure that I like this. I would rather Tucker start out wide with McCluster in the slot.

Dexter McCluster-WR- Chiefs Dec. 5 - 11:06 am et

According to Nick Wright of 610 Sports in Kansas City, Dexter McCluster (ankle) not only will play Sunday but will also start at split end against the Broncos.
Wright was the first to nail down McCluster's high ankle sprain five weeks ago, so he appears to have a go-to source close to the rookie. McCluster practiced fully all week and has been taken off the injury report. Verran Tucker has averaged just one catch per game as the split end while McCluster was sidelined. It's an upgrade for Matt Cassel. McCluster shouldn't be trusted even in PPR leagues in his first week back.

LOL @ him starting. He doesn't do shit split out.

He'll probably get an end around on the first play.

I think this might mean we see a lot of Verran Tucker today, actually. I think the Broncos will finally step up and double team Bowe. They'll keep a close eye on containing DMC which should leave Tucker open on some three wide sets.

That's why I picked up Tucker in my fantasy flex spot for another WR position. But I really think though "WE WILL" truly pound the ball and Charles AND Jones will each have a over a hundred yds today!:thumb:

But just in case. to your point that Tucker will be more open than Bowe today IMO as well I picked up Tucker:thumb:

He's a rookie, and it's his first game off a high ankle sprain. What is it going to take for him to satisfy you today? As of now he's leading all of the other receivers in yards.

LOL @ McCluster lovers propping up his 24-yard game.

One clutch third down reception in the first half.

One 57 yard run annulled because of a penalty that didn't even affect the play.

Nobody's even saying he's having a great game. LOL at you for being so stubbornly stupid. You're so committed to hating certain people that you'll make BS claims like McCluster not making plays that count.

Count Alex's Wins

2nd round picks need to contribute more than 30 yards of offense per game.

chiefzilla1501
12-05-2010, 02:40 PM
2nd round picks need to contribute more than 30 yards of offense per game.

-You were ripping on his yardage totals at 2:30pm
-You actually accused McCluster of not making plays that count because of a penalty on someone else that didn't even affect the run (and was probably BS in the first place).
-You ripping on yardage totals for a game that isn't over for one and not factoring in a called back 57 yard run (which was earned) is weak sauce

You see things the way you want to see them, regardless of outcome.

Count Alex's Wins
12-05-2010, 02:41 PM

chiefzilla1501

I see them as they are. He has 30 yards, and that blows.

He had a 57 yard run that was annulled by a BS holding call that didn't in any way, shape, or form positively affect McCluster's ability to make that play.

Your argument that this doesn't count toward McCluster showing what he can produce is weak sauce.

Count Alex's Wins
12-05-2010, 02:46 PM
That's not my argument at all.

My argument is that he doesn't produce, and so far that's true.

He just had a great punt return, for example.

He has technically two not just big plays, but two enormous plays today (one annulled).

chiefzilla1501

19 yards is enormous?

lol

19 yards is an extremely healthy gain and is enormous when it's done on the 3rd down of a drive that you really need to score on.

But 19 yards is easy. You're right.

Yep. Too bad that's a fantasy.

Just like the idea that McCluster is a dynamic playmaker.

It's only a fantasy because you're stubbornly pretending it never happened. If the debate is about whether McCluster can make plays, you can't just pretend that play never happened. The penalty that called it back was BS in the first place and in the second place didn't influence the run.

You're trying to use statistics to conveniently suit your argument. Dex played a good game today and probably wasn't even 100%.
