Nope. No such thing as an ugly win. Ask Denver how their loss feels?

A win ALWAYS looks better than a loss.

Of course it does, but 9 times outta 10, the Chiefs lose this game.

Yes there is.

We played this game before. It costed us the Oakland game.

I'm happy about the win. But we can't afford to keep beating ourselves when we start playing better competition.

Well, there is, but they are nearly as bad as an ugly loss.

We had an ugly loss three weeks ago. A ugly win today. Averaged together, we had a normal series with the Donkey's this year.

It's a win. Mistakes are correctable and there's no Champ Bailey on that defense next week.

We won 10 games in 3 years. We have 8 wins this year. I'm not crying over ugly wins that's for sure.

I said it before, but good teams find a way to win games where everything seems to be against them.

The Chiefs did that today.

This isn't the BCS, the only thing that counts is another mark in the left column

It is an ugly win...but it is a win. We still have plenty of room for improvement. Hopefully the team will take the negatives from today and play better next week...we will need our best game to beat the Chargers.

We had a lot of pretty losses during the Vermiel era, so I will take ugly wins all day long.

Well, you guys are all free to think as you wish. I choose to believe that in the NFL there is no such thing as an ugly win. You win or you lose. There is never anything ugly about adding a mark in the W column.

A win ALWAYS looks better than a loss.

This is the same attitude from earlier i nthe season when the team was winning inspite of Cassel.

"why can't you be happy for the win you douche?"

Today was ugly, and without the refs apologizing for the games from earlier this season, there is a good chance the chiefs lose.

It's good to win, and im happy about it, but make no mistake, this was UGLY.

yes, there is....

This game was not pretty...on offense, but we nearly put up 400 yards, controlled the clock 10 minutes longer than the broncos, and played pretty good D, limiting denver to 6 points total, and we held the leading passing QB to less than 120 yards.

The efficiency was bad today, especially on offense. We are still an improving young team. We are going to have our growth pains. However, we dominated statistically, the score shouldnt have been this close.

If we are going to be SD next week, we better be a lot more efficient!

you are confused about language...."ugly" is used to describe the style of the win....it has nothing to do with denigrating the achievement....

but thanks for a simultaneously pointless and stupid thread

Haley gave McFistMe a hug, since the Barry Richardson chain-holder job became open this afternoon, a la Star Wars.

Anytime the defense plays like that, it's a beautiful win.
