he pretty much cut it up last night. It is in coolers now and the head is sitting in the garage. Dog wants out to look at it so bad...

He is going to keep the rack but he isn't sure how to do it yet

When I get a rack worth mounting, I usually get a european mount. It's much cheaper than the standard full mount. Congratulations to your nephew.

Congrats on his buck! I hope he didn't have to suffer the same tradition I did. I was 13 when I shot my first and my Dad and uncle made me eat the liver like in "Dances with Wolves". To this day I can not and will not eat raw liver!

I'd just skull mount it unless he really wants to spend the money to have a full head mount. And yes talking taxidermy lends itself well to all sorts of debauchery!
