Mike and Mike reported that Cowher is ready to return to coaching and has gone as far as saying his top 3 choices:
In order:
Giants
Dolphins
Texans

Texans might come open as they commented that Kubiak has had enough time and talent and still hasn't got them where they want to be.

Kubiak to Denver.....Cower to TExans?

Nice of him to comment on jobs where the coach hasn't been fired. Kind of bad form, isn't it?

Dolphins aren't firing Sporano.

Cowher is going to be the Panthers HC. He lives in NC, has kids that live there.

The Giants job isn't opening either.

i'd think he could turn the texans into a playoff squad almost immediately...though i wonder about schaub...big numbers and still no meaningful wins

Poor form to be letting your top choices leak out when those teams have coaches who have not been fired and/or have teams still alive in a playoff race.

That would be interesting, but not probable.

Yes. I think he just said that to throw his hat into the ring. I see him in another city.

But, this seems to fit better.

Maybe he'll come to KC and be assistant Defensive coach under Crennel

Howard Eskin, on Dan Patrick's show, called for the whole coaching staff to be fired this morning.

Maybe the Giants job IS opening up!!>>??

Am I the only one who thinks Bill Cowher is a little overrated?

I could see Carolina trying to get the Harbaugh/Luck combo...

Coughlin is the same as Cowher. What's Cowher going to do differently? Stab the punter for not listening to directions?

I doubt that, but Cowher will chew him out and get that jaw action going. If that doesn't scare the shit out of someone maybe Cowher shouldn't be a coach again.

No

I've always thought the steelers have been nothing but better since Tomlin took over.
