It is the third POW honor of Johnson’s career.

Johnson (6-3, 242) produced career-highs with 17 tackles (12 solo) and four passes defensed at St. Louis (12/19). He is tied for third in the AFC and sixth in the NFL with four forced fumbles.

The University of Texas product has appeared in 88 games (75 starts) for Kansas City, registering 558 tackles (431 solo), 14.0 sacks (-101.0 yards), seven INTs with three TDs, 43 passes defensed, 15 forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and 24 QB pressures. His 558 career tackles rank 13th in Chiefs history.

He is truly putting together one heck of a season. Now if he could just work on his hands!!! The guy would be a sure bet to go to the probowl.

Hilarious that he got called out here before the game for disappearing since the new contract, then responds with a career-best game.

DJ: "They said WHAT about me on Chiefs Planet? Those little bitches. I'll show them!"

Bob Dole: "I got your back covered, DJ."

Glad to see him living up to his potential. Hopefully he continues the upward curve and he becomes the beast we expected on draft day.

I know he played well, but career best game? I know one thing someone was trying to Drag down Stephen Jackson down and having trouble and DJ cleaned the fucking tackle up.

DJ leads all LBs with 15 passes defensed. He could have five or six INTs, if he could catch.

if he could catch he would be playing offense

He was pretty darn good last week. It doesn't always happen but his numbers reflect it. He was key in shutting Jackson down, and covered a lot of ground against the Rams' short/middle passing game (read: Checkdown Bradford).

We can't play against Orton and the Bronco's every week. You know Johnson's his favorite receiver.

This makes all that talk about players that get paid give up.

Jamaal and Derrick have been doing just as good if not better than before they signed their deals.

I am glad to see pioli can identify those types of guys and weed them out.

This guy should've been doing this from day one in his NFL career with his natural talent. The coaching shitty it was.

D J is a class act and I for one am glad to see him playing to his potential. He was everywhere against the Rams.
