I'm going to the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas 4th-9th... and thus, I will be there during the playoff game...

Where would be the coolest Sports Bar/Casino to watch and bet on the game there?

Carlotta can probably give you suggestions, but when we lived there I found pretty much all the casino's experience was about the same.

I did prefer the local's casinos over anything on the strip...

Nzoner has also watched a few games there, he could probably chime in.

I know that doesn't help much, but since the 'Chiefs' bar closed, its all pretty much the same experience.

Mandalay Bay has a spacious setup. Most sports books are smaller than you would expect.

+1 for Mandalay Bay.

I watch all the games at Blue Diamond Saloon on Rainbow and Blue Diamond. Not the best sports bar, but they put the Chiefs on multiple TVs, play the volume of the Chiefs games, they have free food, and its full of Chief's fans.

Good to see they got one going again. They year I lived in Vegas there wasn't one. The location sounds like it might be where the old one was.

Decent place. I went down and caught some live UFC fights a few months ago, but $8.00 flat tap beer.........please. That's Vegas for you though.

Blue diamond saloon is the haven for a Chiefs fan in vegas. Kind of far from me. I've seen almost every game this season at Chicago brewery because they have great deals and it's reasonably dead for games.

If they have it open for the playoff games, the showroom at the Hilton is a great place to watch games. Several huge screens, bar, food and betting stations are available. I've hung out there with Carlota a couple of times and had a blast both times.

Yeah, if you're going to drink, most (good) Sportsbooks gouge you on the booze.

Send a PM to Carlota. It looks like her radio station is still a sponsor for it.

Even if Carlota's station isn't doing Football Central there's no need to leave the Hilton,it's the absolute best sportsbook Vegas has to offer.Cheap food, huge screens, best betting lines and the last time we were there still FREE drinks with a betting slip.

Aria has a really nice sports book I think. Tons of TVs including this massive one that is practically a movie theater screen. Lots of gambling action if you're into that.

Seriously, you havent seen a sportsbar till youve seen the Emeril Lagasse's Sports Stadium in the Palazzo! Awesome Set-up, great food, and you can make sportsbook bets from your couch.

I would agree that the Hilton is the place to be.

They gave me free drinks while watching the Royals game there last year. I only made a $50-100 bet.

This September I randomly ended up at The Pub in the Monte Carlo to watch all the teams I just bet on fail to cover. Good place, lots of TVs, pretty good food. The real seller, though, was their liquid lunch. All you can drink from like 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM. If they don't have that deal going on (which I would doubt during playoff football) there are probably better places.

This thread makes me miss The Hurricane. hands down the best Chiefs bar in town--well it use to be.

Blue diamond Saloon is the local spot but I agree with NZoner, The Hilton is Awesome. And since its the playoffs, you will get the Chiefs game with sound. They typically have killer beer specials and food specials.

I will let you know if we are hosting a playoff party elsewhere--because we rock when it comes to football parties :thumb:

We were watching college games there early and making side bets on the ponys and drank for free by the time all was said and done with the tickets they give out with each bet and a couple lucky bets.

Don't try and convince us that you aren't there for the AVN show.
