Espn radio announced it right at 10,I just didn't feel like starting a thread.Well that and they still have to go through the "process" before it becomes official I guess.

Absolutely stupid as shit.

Guy suddenly starts calling a balanced game when his boss gets shitcanned? Yeah, that's the kind of integrity I want from the man who is supposed to be leading my FB team.

That said, HC of the Cowboys is one of the worst jobs in the NFL.

Well, the media has had its collective mouth on his right testicle for months now. We'll see if he's for real, I suppose. I doubt he is.

Cant help but wonder if Garrett was sandbagging the O to get Wade fired.

I don't know if Garrett will work out long term or not but I think just a change like that in general sometimes can be a good thing. It's not like that had much to lose anyway, but I couldn't see him sandbagging it.Doesn't mean he didn't,just saying I'd be very skeptical.

I doubt he did. Was it the game against the Packers where Wade didn't throw a challenge on a certain play? Also, if Garrett did sandbag the offense, he should be fired.

You don't change your entire playcalling philosophy whenever you already have complete control over the O like he did unless that's exactly what he was doing.

I predict that he fails hardcore and is fired midseason.

I'm not sure how you can wonder that. Did you watch the Cowboys? Their whole entire team looked disinterested in playing the games after Romo went down because Phillips was too much of a dumbass to have a plan. He couldn't have been anymore clueless. All you had to do was look at his dumbfounded face on the sideline.
