I was one of the fans that wanted the Jets in the playoffs. We screwed up, didn't show up, lloked like crap today and we get the Ravens. All year long we have bounced back the next week after an azz kicking,

This is not the same Ravens of 4-5 years ago. They have looked like crap some weeks. They didn't look good at all today either.

If you can run the ball in the playoffs, not turn the ball over, play at home....you got a good chance to win.

The Ravens are a good team. Ray Ray will have them fired up to play. But, fired up or not those LB's are slow on sidelien to sideline speed. Look for Charles to find some holes and some long gains against that defense.

Their pass defense minus Ed Reed is really poor. If Ed Reed is at half speed our chances go up even more.

I'll trust our coaches to have a great game plan to attack the Ravens exposed weaknesses and help patch over ours. The Players will be fired up.

I forsee the first playoff win since Joe Montana was under center. It's going to be a glorious day! Who's with me?

ya, the offense just didnt play like they wanted to win outside of Bowe and JC. Offensive line was terrible, but we have always bounced back from an ass beating.

Its a new season now and thats why ya play them.

I'm in! I've already put the disaster of today behind me. I think we have a great chance if the crowd is similar Opening night... Oh, it would be nice to protect Cassel too

Really? Well, if he doesn't play that is great news for us.

I know their pass defense isn't great but with his experience and expertise back there, he could make up for a lot.

The offical playoff game thread should not be left to chance
although 50 of them started at midnight saturday/sunday would be entertaining

BRC is the one who laid down the gauntlet on this team. We cannot leave this to chance. If the Chiefs lose, we cannot risk blaming anyone or anything else but Charlie Weis. :D

As much as I'd like to see us get rid of our 'last win in the playoffs was' tag I'm a realist and think we'll be running up hill Sunday.

I say it again, time to see if we've turned the corner or are still wallowing with the pigs like sd, oakland, and denver.

The raider game was another reality check where I want to believe but still not quite there yet is the best option in the poll.

Maybe we can find a spot for Rosie in the OL cause yesterday we needed her.

It's very possible the Raider ass-kicking will give the team the motivation they need to get in gear. Now the media is starting to look past us again, hopefully the Ravens will too.

I think we over-achieved this year but was actually a bit shocked when I realized just how similar KC and Baltimore are statistically.

I think our biggest concern is that our guys on the front line were playing their "A" game last Sunday and will face a similarly difficult test from the Ravens front. But if we convert the plays that are there to make we have a real shot. Baltimore doesn't typically blow anyone out so it could come down to a single play, return, stop, or kick.

I'm on the wagon.

This season on my fantasy league I carried two defenses. The Titans and the Ravens. For most of the season the Titans D was better then the Ravens.

While we did just did kicked by the Raiders we also did just kick the Titans.

Every game is different and this game isn't going to be a Ravens blow out. Its's going to be tight with Chiefs holding on for a win.

:shrug:The the best I got.

By Bill Williamson

He is a look at the final AFC West leaders for the 2010 season. There were some terrific performances -- with two NFL leaders and two runners up:

PASSING YARDS

Player: Philip Rivers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5529), San Diego

Yards: 4,710

What does it mean: Rivers beat Peyton Manning (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1428) by 10 yards to win this crown.

RUSHING YARDS

Player: Jamaal Charles (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11307), Kansas City

Yards: 1,467

What does it mean: Charles finished second in the NFL in this category.

RECEIVING YARDS

Player: Brandon Lloyd (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4582), Denver

Yards: 1,448

What does it mean: The journeyman Lloyd was an unlikely leader in this area.

TACKLES

Player: Derrick Johnson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8430), Kansas City

Tackles: 121

What does it mean: Johnson had a terrific 2010 season.

Sacks

Player: Tamba Hali (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9606), Kansas City

Sacks: 14.5

What does it mean: Hali finished second in the NFL in this area.

INTERCEPTIONS

Player: Eric Berry (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13252), Kansas City and Antoine Cason (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11261), San Diego

Interceptions: 4

What does it mean: Both of these players showed they have bright futures.

Yeah, I get that. That's why it was surprising to me... You'd think the line would be different based on public perception.

Yeah, I get that. That's why it was surprising to me... You'd think the line would be different based on public perception.I'm tellin ya and anyone else who will listen that the Ravens front line and LB's are good, real good. Their kryponite is sideline to sideline speed.

I guarantee that Vegas and any other non-partisan better is seeing that if Charles gets a little gap on the outside corners he can go all the way because the LB's can't get out there fast enough. Thats how we win.
