Can you tell me thing is not like the others now before I finish my song?

65,332 in Indianapolis
66,336 in Seattle
69,1444 in Philadelphia
64,879 in Pittsburgh
69,210 in Atlanta
68,756 max for New England
61,500 max for Chicago
72,190 IN KANSAS CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may not have helped KC's cause, but KC will have the highest attendance of the playoff games this year. By my count, it is not possible for the remaining teams to top KC's 72,190, no matter who has a home game next week.

Shitty performance aside the crowd brought it last week. It was fun for a while.

The Chiefs disappointed more die hard fans than any other team this post-season. CONGRATS!!

Doesn't Arrowhead fit 80,000+?

WTF?

I don't think it ever held 80K...I was thinking around 78K but that was reduced by the renovations.

I thought the fans sucked. Didn't ever seem to have gotten too loud to me. I don't think we contributed even contributed one false start...

Nope. It holds 76,000ish since the renovations. That means about 4,000 empty seats. But, not to worry. Only Philadelphia has completely sold out their stadium. Every other city has had 1,000-5,000 empty seats.

How did the renovations reduce seating? Didn't they turn the old press box into suites? Where did they lose seats?

So KC wins the "most people asking for refunds" award?

What's the purpose of this?

Probably where the press box/horizon level structure overhangs the stadium.

Just stating the facts. And, throwing in my own opinion that it means KC has some of the best fans.

People saying it didn't get loud weren't at the game.

This. While I know it was a madhouse in the 90's, I think the legend has reached beyond the truth to a point that no Chiefs crowd will ever measure up.

While there is no shortage of disappointment to go around for Chiefs fans, I think the biggest disappointment this year has to be the Atlanta Falcons.

You get a first round bye and home field through out the playoffs. Then lose by 27 points AT HOME to a wildcard team. Not even the Chiefs loss was that bad. And the Chiefs weren't expected to win anyway.

But, for the past decades, yes, the Chiefs have plenty of disappointment.

Arrowhead has held over 80,000 at one time. Including standing room. But now Arrowhead holds about 75,000. Notice the only empty seats were the ones in the yellow ring.

:spock: You must not have been around here the week leading up to that game.

Carl Peterson would be petitioning the NFL to change scoring to be attendance related at this point for the greatest fans in the NFL.

WTF?

It held 79,451 until this season and after the renovations this year the capacity is 77,000. I can remember back when 72,000 was actually considered a small crowd.
