Tomlin, Belichick or McCarthy.

McCarthy getting this team to the SB with close to 20 players on IR is remarkable, IMO.

Shouldn't be higher than 5%. McCarthy should win. Other coaches who should get more votes than Haley - Belichick, Tomlin and Ryan. Hell even Carroll won a wildcard game against the defending champs and put up a better fight in game 2 than KC did.

I did not know that. Silly since the playoffs are what count.

This! Everyone needs to realize these awards are Regular season awards only because not everyone reaches the post season.

So before the Pack went on their Post season tear winning three road games on their way to the SB the votes were cast.

I think Haley deserves COTY

He may have hurt his chances with the handshake snub though

I actually think the chances are pretty good.

In reality, I think there are much more deserving coaches. If this were pre-postseason, it would have to go to Bellichick.

How did Haley have 4.5? Did some guy write Todd and forget to write the last name?

Well, it's only fair. Belichick had to deal with Tom Brady as opposed to the far superior Matt Cassel that Haley had.

Also receiving votes were Kansas City's Todd Haley (4), whose team went 10-6 and won the AFC West; and four coaches with one selection apiece: Atlanta's Mike Smith, Philadelphia's Andy Reid, Chicago's Lovie Smith, and St. Louis' Steve Spagnuolo.

I'm not surprised, but after there's no way I would have voted for Belichick. Once a coach is caught cheating I would never vote for him to get an award again.
