This could go very horribly, but I think I'm just going to try something new without a recipe.

Potatoes (scalloped)
Cheese (Maybe some Cheddar and cream cheese?)
Bacon
Sour Cream
Green Onions

All that in a casserole

Then I'll go with a layered bean dip.

Beans/Ground Beef (taco seasoning)/salsa/sour cream/shredded cheese

If not, we are just going to order pizza, and fuck that.

Queso.

Velveeta, Rotel and some taco seasoning. In a small slow cooker or low heat on the stove. Add the Rotel toward the end.

Unwrap a 8 oz package of cream cheese, center it on a large plate. Use a knife to cut it (longways) down the middle and separate the halves slightly. Now top w/some habanero salsa, leave the knife and set out some crackers and party rye. This salsa is too hot for me normally, but the cream cheese mellows it.

Microwave a big bowl of rinsed sugar-snap peas for 1.5 - 2 minutes. Remove, drizzle on some sesame oil and sprinkle w/'pizza pepper' (crushed red pepper) and kosher salt. Toss well, nuke again for 30 seconds. Serve w/forks OR napkins. Works well w/broccoli, too.

Bacon wrapped little smokies sprinkled with brown sugar. 325 degree oven for about 40 minutes.

I'd suggest putting aluminum foil down on the cookie sheet otherwise you'll be tossing it out.

Taco seasoned bacon?

Yeah, I bought a package of good bacon, cut it into inch squares, lightly seasoned it with the taco seasoning and cooked it. It turned out great.

I'll be damned.

I must admit, it's never occurred to me to season bacon before cooking it.

Well, just so you know, the grease will remove a lot of the seasoning, depending on how big/small of a pan you use. If you want a subtle seasoning on it, just season it normally, but if you want it to taste really seasoned, you'll have to season it more than you would normally think you should.

The Chargers play @NYJ this year, so I may. The most likely road trip for me is @DET though.

Just made this, but slightly changed the recipe...

Instead of Frank's, I used a chili-lime hot sauce and added a chipotle sauce as well.

Turned out perfect!

Thanks Hamas!
