Hope it's a good one, remember Hemi's aren't that badass, they're far too heavy to be substantial. Sure I'll give them torque value. That's about it though. ;) :P

Thank you everyone, thanks very much! It is a very special day as I get to see the cardiologist. :D thanks again to all of you, and videos are great Radar!

Tim, you are welcome to drive them anytime. The Barracuda is put away though, but the Challenger is fun with the blizzaks.

SS/AA is the coolest class in drag racing.

The Dr. wasn't happy since I hadn't spent any money with him in 2 1/2 years, but everything is fine. I am in better shape than I was at 40.

He just needs to catch up on the billing, so they are going to dump some atomic waste in my system tomorrow, and run me on the tread mill. Those stress tests are very stressful. :D

Itís just a shame there isnít more of it on TV, since the NHRA seems to be all about the top fuel classes.

Yea but you know what? My dad had the same test and they sent him to the Kansas Heart Hospital that day for a five-way bypass. Of course he isnít exactly the picture of health and had been fighting what he thought was acid reflux for a while, turns out that was actually mini heart attacks.
I actually need to have a few tests done myself. For my age Iím behind on some scheduled maintenance. ;)

I love going to watch them, but 8:80 cars don't look very impressive on TV, people just don't get the sensation of speed. Get it done Lee, you may not be as lucky as me. It is an expensive test, but I bet you have good coverage. I now have $6,000 deductable, so this one will be mostly on me.

Get a Datsun while you are at it. :p

He hasn't yet, unless you heard this somewhere other than this thread. Seriously, I am fine. It has been 3.5 years since the stents were installed, and 3 years since my last stress test.
At that time, he hinted that there was a 5 year warranty (I can't really remember the exact context of the 5 years) so I called them for an appointment a while back. They are real hard to get into see.

Bottom line so far, I need to flip my workouts. I have been doing about 6 hours of weight training a week, and 2 1/2 hours of cardio.

He wants me to do 1 1/2 hours of cardio a day! :doh!: I love the weight training and hate cardio, but he is the Dr.

I believe you. I was just pointing out that the doctor hasn't made that determination since you haven't taken the test yet. 1 1/2 hours of cardio a day? That's quite a requirement.

Agreed, I think he goes overboard, because he sees people usually coming up short. He had me get my Cholesterol down below a 100, and that has been working.
But he told me to keep the cardio speed low, heart rate below 120, so it won't be too bad,

Have you had one of these tests?

Yes, I hated it. My heart passed, but the test part was pretty miserable for me.

Are you a little claustrophobic? That is the worst part, and it drags on seemingly forever.

Stress test, you are awake the entire time, and it takes about 2 1/2 hours. They put an atomic solution in your blood system, then put you under a scan to look at flow.

You aren't awake for the tube up the butt deal anyway, they put you under.

Do them both, it is a part of getting old. :D

Actually I was talking about a colonoscopy, which is what I'm behind on, pardon the pun.
And even if I'm asleep, I still don't want a tube up the butt.

Its not the colonoscopy that'll get ya. Its flushing your system beforehand.

I looked up your horoscope for the coming year. It says, "You will undertake a risky new venture this year, with mixed results. You will achieve significant financial gains, but your lack of cardio training will haunt you and you will have to give it up in a plea agreement. By the end of the year, you will have many new experiences as the smallest person in your cell block."
