we sure seem to think so

It's really debatable if he would even play NT. He was pretty awful as a NT in Cleveland.

I hope nobody is surprised when we re-sign Ron Edwards and don't draft a nose tackle, yet again. For some reason this team likes to ignore huge holes for long periods of time.

Except for the year he played there for Crennel.

Except for the year he played there for Crennel.

He wasn't excpetional even that year. He was good at times, but he freelanced too much from what I remember.

I think he made the right call going to NO. He can play next to another mauler in a 4-3.

Shaun Rogers turned down chance to make roughly $6M elsewhere to sign with Saints for about $4M. Wants to be there.

Well he wanted to win and be close to Houston. New Orleans provides that.

I'll take "things athletes will never say about KC" for $1000, Alex.

Fuck em. Rogers would have been a stop gap at NT at best. Draft a true DT.

Why? If we thought NT mattered we would have drafted one last year. It's a disposable, unimportant position. Like quarterback.

I'll take, why I don't get my panties all wadded up when we miss out on a free agent for $100 Alex.

It's really debatable if he would even play NT. He was pretty awful as a NT in Cleveland.

He didn't want to play the nose in a 3-4, and was released by the Browns, who had one of, if not the, worst defensive line in the NFL last season.

And it's like the world imploded when his lackadaisical, injury ridden ass signs with someone else.

Ill bet you all my casino cash Pioli gets a NT.

And this is Piloi's third off-season. Exactly what huge hole has he "ignored" for long perioids of time? What the prior regime did is completely irrelevant. We have a top flight GM now, and he already has a 30-something former cleveland D-lineman, that's played better than Shaun Rogers as of late.
All this tells me, is that they are going younger at the position, which is exactly what we should be doing.
But keep the chicken little shit rolling. It's pretty funny.

In Cassel's case it's more like after you said "hike." That's when you can't throw a straight pass.
