What quarterback would you prefer to select in the midrounds?

If you disagree with where I projected them, well... what can you do.

I'll be shocked if someone can fix Kaepernick and turn him into a successful NFL QB.

Give me Devlin. Although I don't see us picking a QB before the 5th. So the chances of anyone besides McElroy being on the board is slim. He'll probably be Pioli's pick, assuming we draft one at all.

The guy was showing up Locker and Stanzi big time in the Senior Bowl. His delivery is due to his long arms and his baseball background. It's not that hard to alter his mechanics in a more concise and compact throwing motion.Still, he needs to be in a situation that is QB friendly for him to develop.

I chose Devlin. He could replace Palko and develop. Chief's need to bring in a FA QB to replace Croyle and push Cassel.

And he was also getting showed up. Kaepernick had like one good play. He threw a whopping 5.9 yards per pass, WOOOOOOW! Studly! He also threw the only interception in the entire game. He's more dangerous with his feet than he is with his arm... Who's to say when someone starts ****ing with his release that he still throws as hard or even as pitifully accurate as he is now. I doubt he'll be anywhere near how effective he was in a spread option when he is taking snaps under center. Teach him how to run routes and catch and have him throw the occasional flea flicker/reverse pass down field.

For the QBs listed above I'd prefer Dalton, however if we have the shot and he somehow falls that far we need to jump on Ponder IMO. I have this kind of sick feeling however that McElroy-Jettson is going to be drafted in the 4th or 5th by us. Too many connections with Saban, playing in a pro-style offense, and he is the "smart" QB in this years draft.

You are looking at a backup who won't lose you games with those guys. McElroy.

I don't like Devlin. I'm sick of the Chiefs drafting QBs in the 4th round named "Pat" who suck

I watched Andy Dalton in the Rose Bowl. He's scrappy as hell. I don't see how he'd be anything different than a Matt Cassel

Gingers don't have souls.

Do you really think Pioli is going to bring in a guy w/o a soul?

Low character guy.

So are you making a positive or a negative comment about him?

I'd vote for one if they actually had any shot of being anything more than a backup.

We should do a poll about who we'd like to see drafted to be backups (for their entire careers) at other positions too!

Negative. I don't like him much as a prospect.

If we draft him I'll be happy. Hell, I'll be ecstatic. I just want the Chiefs to take a QB period. I don't care who it is. But there are several guys on that list that I would rather have than Dalton.
