Good mix. Good mix. If this was a radio station, no one would stay on it more than five minutes.

Gonna have to post this video because the song will otherwise fly under the radar:

Sanctuary should advance. It was the closest thing to rock the early/mid 80s had to offer (and it can absolutely get you a speeding ticket)

Ditto. (can't bring myself to say "this")

Fortunately it appears I underestimated CP; it's doing quite well.

I don't know. They're like one producer and one director away from being A Flock of Seagulls.

The Broncos are one quarterback and a jar of grease away from being the Chiefs.

I'm not sure that song would be in Buckcherry's top 20. :spock:

So now we have Nickelback and Buckcherry but still no Radiohead.

I agree completely, and I am both frightened and disturbed by it.

It's amazing how much of a complete ripoff GnR is of The Cult.

I like this heat. It's a nice assemblage of songs that may not get top billing, but are pretty darn good.

Effington is awesome and gets my vote, and Candy's Room is a winner for its unique sound and urgency. And who doesn't like Life's Been Good?

I voted for those three, but I really like Henry the Eighth (Second Verse, same as the first), and Wasted Youth is a decent Meat Loaf song. Cowboy Mouth is a great group and Joe Strummer is a good song I hadn't heard, and I even kind of liked the Buckcherry ditty. The only song I didn't really like was the one by The Cult.

Surprisingly strong heat.

The Cult and Joe Walsh were the only ones worth voting for.

I could try to convince you that Joe Strummer is worth voting for because it's a fantastic song about a legendary rock band and how you need to have your priorities straight when it comes to chicks and music. I could try to lure all the bozos who think GnR made 7 out of the top 10 greatest rock songs of all time to Joe Strummer by pointing out that GnR is mentioned positively in the lyrics. But instead, I'm just going to let you all miss out on this gem and let the fact that I'm the only one voting for it reassure me that my taste in music if far superior to pretty much everyone else participating in this poll series. Yeah, that's what I'm going to do.

Cowboy Mouth, The Cult, and Joe Walsh.

That would appear to be the consensus, but man, this heat is great. Effington is effing good. And Henry the VIIIth? Can't beat it.
