ya, sitting in my basement. i was so confident memphis was gonna win, i sent a text to my buddy, who was at a watch party with some of his friends that were jayhawk fans, telling him to bottle some of their tears for me or something like that. it was at that point when ku began the comeback, and ku went on to win, and the curse was born...

That game was epic and I am not a fan of either team. Easily one of the most entertaining NC games. Unless of course you are a Memphis fan.

That has to be one of the all-time best NCAA highlights... up there with Keith Smart, Christian Laettner, Michael Jordan... etc. One for the ages, no matter which team you pull for.

This championship was so fun... Even if they don't win one for another 5-10 years... this one was golden.

My girl was two years old at the time, sitting on my lap being sweet, since KU was down 9 points and daddy was sulky. She tried to cheer me up. It was a sweet moment.
