He can come in to replace Brokie. If Cassel falters, he's there to pick up the team and surprise the hell out of the naysayers. Under the right guidance (Haley), you've got a QB that's very young and has experience winning games in the NFL.

I'll bookmark this one for an "I told ya so" moment later...)

a black QB would never survive in KC even though he has all of the game and would be an immediate upgrade over Castle.

Some people just really don't get it yet what type of player that your G.M. is NOT going to sign.

And don't give me this Moss crap in NE. Pioli is a different GM in K.C. cause this is HIS team here. Not gonna happen.

When Scott talks about how he does back ground checks on players before he drafts them and he talks to the janitor and cafeteria lady at the schools to see how the young men treat the young ladies in the school.

So when we see the video of VY in the strip club busting his way out of the back room, the disrecpect he showed to his head coach in front of his teammates. I just don't see it.

It has nothing to do with his talent on the field, although I think at this point he is probably a lot like Vick was, First in, First out of practice.

While all true if he buys in his next stop and cleans up his act, a lot to ask I know, he could do well. Don't see it in KC either but somewhere else Minnesota or maybe some tough love from Singletary in SF?

We could split the difference and free up an extra roster spot with Vincent Cassel.

he still can't read a defense, and his accuracy is spotty as his mechanics are erratic.

I don't know why the NFL (and bulletin board GM's) never learn.

Athletic ability is nice in a QB. However, if he can't read a defense and deliver the ball quickly and accurately into a small window to the receiver then you can't be an effective QB in the NFL. Period.

Vince didn't have to read defenses at Texas. If his first option wasn't open, he ran with the ball. That shit won't fly against play-off competition in the NFL. It doesn't fly for Vick (even now) it didn't fly for Randall Cunningham, it didn't fly for Steve Young (he had to learn to read defenses before he won a ring) and it won't fly for Tebow either.

Haley likes QBs who can, you know, throw the ball.
Haley could probably make a better WR out of him than a QB.

His run attempts decreased dramatically. His accuracy is usually hovering around 60%. Give him a coach and staff that believe him and he can still be a good QB (barring an emotional breakdown).

He could never be a Chief. He would't make it out of a Haley TC. Haley would have him crying in the fetal position before the first two-a-day was over.
