You Shook Me is the best of that bunch. It's been played to death, but it's a great rock song.

This was a tough heat for me. I love Neil Young. Love. I have some really good memories that include Paradise City. Black is my favorite Pearl Jam song. And it's hard to not vote for Shook Me All Night Long.

Wow, what a comedown from the last heat. Kashmir, Nirvana and suckage.

My rankings:

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, the Beatles - #1. This is a great song, and it's also the only song in the heat that I really like. There's a whole lot of musical composition stuff going on in this song, and I really like the mental image of the girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Heart Shaped Box, Nirvana - I don't think I voted for this in the first round, but it's the best of the rest. I'll give it a #2.

You Shook Me All Night Long, AC/DC - I didn't vote for this one in the first round, either, but it's the best we've got in this heat. #3 vote.

Kashmir, Led Zeppelin - Eh.

Southern Man, Neil Young - Meh.

Paradise City, Guns N Roses - Bleah.

Stranglehold, Ted Nugent - Blech.

Black, Pearl Jam - This song is just weird.

This one is a one-horse race for me. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is the only song I want to see advance.

Mostly, this polling business is teaching me that Rain Man and I have nearly identical taste in music. Maybe because I look like his avatar...

I knew there was a reason I like you.

I'm not quite sure who I hate more - Nirvana or Led Zeppelin. It's sort of like choosing between Denver and Kansas.

I love Black. One of my favorite PJ songs.

How is AC/DC not in the lead in this poor heat?

1. AC/DC
2. Paradise City
3. Southern Man

"Take me down to the paradise city" Axl

"where the grass is green and the girls are pretty" Slash

"Take me down to the paradise city" Axl

"where the girls are fat

and they've got titties" Slash

"take...me...home..."

Well so goes the story behind the lyrics as they wrote this song in the back of a van... Slash was out numbered by the band to use his second verse...

Coincidentally, I just sent them that review as a writing sample. Wish me luck.

Generally not impressed with the overrall representation in this round. But I come to this party late, so....AC/DC, Guns, Nugent in this heat. I love LZ, but mostly for their first 4 albums.

I haven't seen any motley crue, or iron maiden or any really good stuff. Instead I see CCR and the Beatles and shit.

What your mother probably never told you is that in addition to the worm, the early bird gets to nominate songs as the greatest of all time for the Rock N Poll.

If it's any consolation, I think Tiny Dancer from Elton John is still in the mix.

This heat was like a third-world disaster. I watched it with mild concern, but there wasn't anything there I really cared about. LSD was the only song that I had any interest in.

I gotta agree, every AC/DC song i've seen so far is one of my least favorite of theirs, all of the overplayed Brian Johnson era stuff.
