Our coaching is killing us in this series. It's a joke that you can't get Durant better shots or have Collison in down the stretch to shutdown Randolph. What a horrible second half when you have a 10 point lead at halftime and can't close the door. Mother fuck Scott Brooks!

Zach scored on everybody tonight. Collison has been good, but when Z is hitting that 17 footer he's really tough. Fabulous defensive job by Allen/Battier/Young on Durant. Everybody is focusing on Durant and Brooks, but the Grizz have been really physical with him, and it's bothering him. I seem to remember a similar result in last year's playoffs vs. Artest.

The first quarter in the game on Sunday will be huge. If the Thunder come out hot and are able to play loose with the crowd going crazy, they'll probably roll through the game and get a victory. But, if the Grizz can weather that storm and keep it close into the second half, the pressure falls squarely on the Thunder and it would be anybody's game. I'm just excited that the Grizz continue to fight and have given themselves a chance to accomplish something really special.

I don't think the Bulls stand much of a chance against a confident LeBron and Wade. 4-2 Heat.

With game 7 on Sunday, I'm beginning to doubt Durant's ability to come through in the clutch. The home advantage is obviously huge, but I don't expect Randolph and Gasol to go down easily.

I think it will come down to Heat vs. Mavs

I have been watching this for weeks and was hoping Memphis would have been better but in the end OKC wins. Memphis gets the jump and the lead then blows it at the end. Mavs and Heat will be well rested to continue their runs.

I enjoyed watching the Mavs shut out the Lakers in 4 - AWESOMENESS! :thumb:

Brooks?

You don't know any Thunder fans obviously.

I give credit to the defense but there are still ways to get him the ball.

Brooks is horrible at drawing up plays period.

You also said the Perkins/Green trade was horrible for the Thunder. I don't expect you to understand a team you don't watch on a regular basis.

Brooks has been heavily criticized all year for the use of the lineup all the way back to Jeff Green starting over Ibaka. We also never get off a good shot in critical last second situations.

I never said Memphis didnt have something to do with it but Brooks is assisting. Nick Collison has been kryptonite to Randolph and didn't play the last six minutes of the game.

I would like to see this post where Scott Brooks sounds like a hero.

However, I will say he's a young coach still learning just like our players. I never said I turned my back on him or wanted him fired but he did fucking piss me off last night.

If the Bulls play like they did against Atlanta in game six consistently we'll beat the Heat in five games. But I doubt we play that consistently with our lapses of focus so far in the playoffs. We can only hope, as Bulls fans, that playing the Heat and this being the Eastern Conference Finals will get their full attention from the start of the series to the finish. No matter what, it should be a great series.

And if the Mavs play like they did in Game 4 against the Lakers they'll win the NBA Championship in 8 more games.

The Bulls, like the Mavs, played out of their minds. It seems silly to think they'll be able to maintain that.

I don't think that was too far off from the Bulls "normal" A game. When Boozer brings it, they're really tough to beat. That means teams can't completely overplay Rose on the pick and roll. Korver didn't shoot well in Game 6, so it wasn't like they were out of their minds shooting the ball collectively like the Mavs did in Game 4.

Ibaka and Durant need to develop a post offense. I don't agree that they need a guy at the center position that scores a lot of points. Perkins will provide years of return when it comes to a certain toughness you need in the playoffs.

Jeff Green type players are a dime a dozen. In fact, Green was just slowing the growth of James Harden, and Green played spotty defense at best.

Memphis shoots 32% (1-7 from three), outrebounded by 6, only +2 in turnovers, Randolph/Gasol have 6 points less than Durant by himself......and down single digits. I'll take it. Bad half of basketball from Grizz, but they've shown they can turn it around so I'll hold out hope.

Difference in this game right now is offensive rebounding by the Thunder. Grizzlies have been a really good rebounding team, but they're giving up 2nd and 3rd shots to the Thunder every single time down the floor. Frustrating to watch.

They will regroup.

Are they going to sign better players for their bench, or are they going to grow into rebounders? Defense and rebounding were the key, and that doesn't just go away. It's why the Bulls won 62 games, and it seems people have forgotten that. I expect the Heat to get really aggressive on defense, taking more chances and trying to create turnovers. If the wings aren't hitting shots for teh Bulls off of those aggressive traps, it could work. We'll see.

Bosh played well, which is a good sign. Bron and Wade had horrible games, part due to Chicago's defense and part due to them just missing shots they usually make, as Thibodeau said. We'll see if Chicago continues to shoot 48% from 3pt range, where they had a +21pt advantage.

You could see it last night. Bulls game plan iso-ed Wade/James, kept them away from the rim and the foul line. Let Bosh have his. Great plan, great execution. We'll see tomorrow what Miami does to counter.

What your offense needs is a post presence. You have zero threat in the post.

Which Jeff Green didn't and will never provide. Even had we lost it was a good trade because Jeff Green did not fit. It allowed Harden to get more shots and allowed a PF to play who can rebound and play defense. Also, Perkins had made Collison and Ibaka worlds better just by standing next to them. He is also a leader in the locker room and has championship experience. Offensively he's horrible and I cringe every time he touches the ball but he's exactly what we needed. Ibaka is 21 and I believe next year he will improve offensively over the summer.
He shows flashes now. I would also like to see us run plays for Collison like we did for Krstic. I honestly think he's just as effective with that mid range jumper. We have most of the pieces we need. We just need to mature.

The atmosphere yesterday was the best yet. After my three year old tantrums in the first quarter to put Collison and Harden things couldn't have gone better. I still don't understand why Collison wasn't on the floor every minute Randolph was after game 1. This was just a bad matchup for Ibaka this series. The same with Thabo getting too many minutes. That should only happen when a team has a dominate 2. It was good usage of the lineup yesterday and I thought Brooks won the coaching matchup. They made some nice tweeks with some different pick and rolls to get KD some good looks. Like I said Brooks is still learning and I think he can be a pretty good coach.

I'm very happy with the progress of this team. From 23 wins, to playoffs, to Western Conference finals is more than I could have ever dreamed of when they came here.

Dallas is the favorite but we will present problems. It will be a fun series to the watch. We are back to the underdog role playing with house money and our players like that role.

Funny guy. I said that compared to the other major sports, it matters FAR less.

Heh.

You could see it last night. Bulls game plan iso-ed Wade/James, kept them away from the rim and the foul line. Let Bosh have his. Great plan, great execution. We'll see tomorrow what Miami does to counter.

Chicago regularly plays 10 guys. That takes coaching too.

The Heat don't have 10 guys that can play. Wade and James were missing shots they usually make. It isn't a fluke that the Bulls won 62 games. They are good.

Dirk got 48, but I would be surprised if Durant got 40 again.

I would also be surprised to see Peja go 1 for 8 again so this works both ways.

He's lead the league in scoring two years in a row. Yeah, he has no chance.

Mavs bench: 53 pts

Thunder bench: 22 pts

This is just more of the same from the Mavericks. They do this to everyone. They destroyed LA's bench. You can't compete with this bench when Terry and Peja are raining threes and Barea is doing disgusting things.

I hope he's better right now, he's 22. We had an all star play like shit and you're comparing him to Peja.

The Mavs D isn't any better than the Thunders. The Grizzlies just had their worst offensive game of the season against us. I will bet we are one of the leaders in defense this playoffs. You gave up a shit load of points tonight too.

I would be happy if I was a Mavs fan about tonight but JFC you are the most knee jerk reacting mother fucker ever. Either every one on your team are Gods or they all need to be killed depending on the outcome.

Your lack of respect for other teams is laughable. If we are as bad as you say you have really accomplished nothing.

Portland and LA aren't up tempo teams. You can't even compare that. Denver is run and gun skews those stats. Plus we like to run. Points per game isn't everything. We also played OT and 3OT vs Memphis.

With Go Chiefs, it's all about getting a reaction. Stop arguing with him, as he's just in it to argue and prod. I don't remember him being in any NBA threads before this one, but now he's in here and loves the NBA and has little respect for posters of other teams. Let it go, and if your Thunder happen to win, you can simply say scoreboard and move on.

Dallas is playing great right now. If they keep this up and guys like Barea, Peja and to some degree Terry keep playing over their head, they'll probably win it all. If not, still an impressive run. I want to be happy for Mav fans, but Go Chiefs and Punkin are making it difficult.

Are you serious? Just stop, please. Mavs picked up Peja as a street free agent mid-season. He didn't play for a bit because of his chronic back problems. He played in 25 games, starting 13. He was brilliant to the tune of 8 points and 2.6 boards/game.
