April 11th 2011. A cold blistering winter day in St. Joseph Missouri.
What used to be the training camp for the Kansas city Chiefs now looks more
like a ghost town in Dodge City. The visuals of black tumble weaves of Jamaal
Charles and Dewayne Bowe now are replaced with Tumble Weeds. "It's a real shame,"
Dokken Maiden told reporters. "I was planning on selling some t shirts for next year
but now I am going to have to go ask Barry at perkins for my job back washing dishes.
The Facility which was created for football is now looking at other avenues to make money.
Possible ideas have been kicked around are concerts Almost Kiss, KcDc and Todd Rudgren.
David Ramsey spoke at a local bank at the possibility for some of St. Joseph Residence to lease
some vehicles for awesome. Some of the players told me off the record they wouldn't mind if the training
camp was moved after the lookout. "The pizza hut was turned into a bar, the bar was turned into a bar, the
Convienent store was turned into a bar" whatever happened to family values one player told me.
One thing is for sure, 3 things died in st joseph. Jesse James, the pony express, Dan Cortez from espn sports,
and Nfl Training camp.
