My wife's computer, for the last couple of days, hasn't been booting.

I called a tech we have used numerous times come to look at it and after a few minutes tells us that it needs to be reformatted.

While discussing this and looking at our laptops to clear up any issues we might have, my wife tells him she has orderd the Showtime package from DirectTV.

Oh, she says, "BTW, I also ordered the MLB TV package for you, honey".

She knows that I follow a lot of sports, and knows that I spent summer evenings on the porch when I was kid listening to Royals baseball when they weren't on TV, which was often.

She got this package in spite of the fact that she really isn't interested in baseball, or sports in general.

She just wants the best for me.

She just wants the best for me.I got to watch Cardinal games maybe 5-10 games a year. But thanks to KMOX I got to listen to Harry Carey and Jack Buck every summer night on the radio. Listening to those radio broadcasts is one of my favorite memories of childhood.

There's just something about listening to a broadcast on a warm summer night under the stars.

If you were a newlywed, and gullible, this thread could have had uncomfortable "Crying Game" repurcussions.

And the computer wasn't booting because, obviously, the guy living in your walls has been pornsurfing while no one was home. Duh.

I tell people that bad football is still better than any other sport, but I do still follow a lot of different sports, including baseball.
