This makes more sense than the old Nebraska threads since we now are in the Big 10 I think a thread like this will be good to get acquainted with the other Big 10 fans and keep up with whats going on around the conference. Please share any good reads about Big 10 teams in this thread.

Spring Games Saturday April 16

Michigan
Penn State
Northwestern

Looks like all of the big boys (Wisconsin, Ohio State, Iowa, Nebraska) will be replacing a lot of talent. Wisconsin the QB & O-line, Ohio State the defense, Iowa QB & D-line, Nebraska the secondary. With so many teams losing so much talent does this open the door for another team to be the Michigan State of last year?

does this open the door for another team to be the Michigan State of last year? What does that mean? Is Michigan State good?

Michigan State won a share of the Big 10 conference last year when they were expected to suck. The question is does a team with more experience and less talent come from nowhere again this year?

One of those "big boys" hasn't finished a season ranked near the top 10 in over a decade.

The Big 10 picked Nebraska over Missouri because it's a much better football program.

Whats noticeable is the overall speed on offense which is an improvement in years past. I'm curious Iowa fans how do the other teams match up to a speedy offense on defense?

As always they played a vanilla game. Jamal Turner should be a guy to keep your eye on this fall.

Brion Carnes too at this point looks like a better passer than Martinez though I think Martinez will be the starter.
