it seems really hypocritical that he persists with the BC issue. how is that any different from when rosie o'donell became a truther? Trump is a troll. he says stupid shit to get a big reaction. it doesn't matter if it is positive or negative, he just wants the attention.

If Trump was serious about running for president beating the birther drum is not the best campaign strategy.

He's not serious. He's working on the brand name.

I'm like 99% sure this is the case with Trump, but every now and again he'll do or say something that makes me think he might actually be serious.

Also, for the record I rescind an earlier post I made where I said I might vote for him. That was before he started talking.

I'd easily vote for Trump over Obama.

Does that say more about your feelings for Trump or Obama?

Both.

Trump is a pompous a$$ but I have seen nothing from him to think he'd back down from a fight with congress to do what he perceives needed done.

Especially with China.

What Republicans must worry about now is the possibility that every now and again he might do or say something that makes himself think he might actually be serious.

He should really drop the BC issue to be serious. OK, if, I said IF he unveils Obama was not born in the US, then what, is he a shoo in ?

Does Hilary run ?

BCD

I cant believe Obama was not born in this country. Surely, the CIA, FBI, or NSA would have discovered something on this.

If he announces he's running, he should drop this.

Its hard to drop the birth-er issue . When every interview starts out with questions about it.
Trump can do no worse than the last 4 who held office.

Probably all a Sheen-esque publicity stunt, but he is more qualified to be president than guy currently holding the office.

Trump is only here to give Obama a 2nd term, i'm sure there is a kickback somewhere along the lines. He will also steal votes from someone like a Ron Paul and that would be a tragedy.

It would be a tragedy to reduce Ron Paul from 3% to 2% in some primary election?

25% tax on China. That's an interesting one. I think my favorite policy that I've heard was the one from 2008 that I heard Denney Hunter propose in the primaries: "Mirror Trade". Basically just match the tax levels exactly of any country we trade with.

I don't want to believe it but the only way the Trump multimedia experience lately makes any sense is if he is trying to sabatoge any opponents running against Obama in 2012. Whether in the primary or running third party in the general election like he has threatened to do.

Perhaps he's gunning for the vote of all the mindless voters who want to see the next big reality series, "Revive a Country in 4 Years."

He's out raised even Romney at $3 million while Newt raises around $50,000! Ya' know the Newt Rs like you think is a "conservative." The one who said FDR was our greatest president who took us out of the Great Depression—that Newt.

The guy praising and defending Trumps claims that President is the most powerful position in the world as if we're supposed to be electing an emperor. It's not supposed to be the most powerful position in the world. It's not even supposed to be the most powerful position in our own govt per the Constitution. That a person touting these things is pumping Trump makes me very suspicious.

I know several people who feel tricked by Obama, who actually say "f*%$ Obama" and were ardent supporters of his last time around.
I can't see them voting for any republican, i think there will be a lot of people who abstain from voting rather than vote for him again.
