DETROIT (WXYZ) - Controversial Quran-burning Pastor Terry Jones was ordered taken to the Wayne County Jail after refusing to post a $1 peace bond. However, someone posted the bond on his behalf not long after he was taken into custody.

The development came after a jury found a proposed protest by Jones and his associate Wayne Sapp outside the Islamic Center of America, the largest mosque in the United States, was likely to breach the peace and incite violence....

What would Jesus do in His time for the idols and cults worshipers?

Did Jesus' desiciples ever protest in front of the heathen temples?

What is the point of Pastor Jones trying to make?

I love freedom of speech. This guy does something non-violent. A jury determines that OTHER PEOPLE (Muslims, of course) may become violent in response, so the guy doing the non-violent activity gets arrested.

When Fred Phelps pickets funerals of children or military servicemen, that's just freedom of speech because his targets aren't Muslims.

So these facts mean nothing-

Pastor Terry Jones was ordered taken to the Wayne County Jail after refusing to post a $1 peace bond.

the Florida pastor would not be following the law if he held a protest outside the mosque after he was denied a permit for that particular location. He was asked to hold his protest in a permit free zone, but insisted that they would still hold their protest outside of the mosque.

Sapp said they planned to hold the protest regardless of the outcome of today's proceedings.

Prosecutors also brought up safety concerns about Terry Jones carrying a firearm after his weapon accidentally discharged in the parking lot at Detroit TV State WJBK

prosecutors also brought up Jones' and Sapp's intents saying that they have already said they will break the law by holding the protest, no matter what the court rules.

I hate Islam and don't mind saying so, I think it's a pack of lies meant to preserve savages' 6th century culture, just like this guy does.

But that being said, screw Phelps, it would be a lot better if this guy met with an unfortunate accident.

Phelps runs a small troupe of annoying kooks. This guy actually is providing aid and comfort to the enemy by being their best recruiter. He is putting our troops and American civilians abroad at risk. He's more or less working in concert with Al Queda, from a certain point of view.

And people give Phelps all the ink. He's utterly harmless. This is the guy who needs to be dropped off on a desert island somewhere.

There has to be a way to relocate all the lunatics to some deserted island where we could just have religious fundamentalist death matches and let nature take it's course.
