Paul was in second place in Arizona only trailing Huckabee and now is in 2nd place in Iowa with 15% :)

I give Huckabee props though. Unlike our president Huckabee isn't all about his ego I think thats obvious as I stated this guy could have been the Republican nominee if he wanted it.

Doesnt really surprise me, everything i've read or heard says he's too much of a 'nice guy' to excite the hardcore right.

Personally, i like the guy, a conservative with a heart.

As a resident of this state, I can say that there are things I like about Huck, and there are things I dislike. I think anyone who is a true fiscal, libertarian conservative would find him to be an absolutely horrific candidate. Moderates tend to like him, though, but the party seems to be moving away from Huck's ideology.

Yep. Huckabee is the absolute worst possible candidate imaginable. fiscally moderate, socially conservative. (and weak on crime to boot) I'd rather have Obama for another term than this dumbass, so its good that he's out.

He's extreme on the social issues. But pretty moderate on everything else.

I don't expect any viable canidates. Who in their right mind thinks the presidency in 2012 wouldn't be like being named the captain of the titantic?

Another one bites the dust.

Or as I would put another one is scared to lose and they are all waiting for 2016.

Yeah, theres things i'm not big on with him, like his already mentioned social conservatism, but he always seems to present his views in a non-threatening or judgemental way. He has his values & will stick by them, but i've never seen him be a haranguing jerk about it.

Guess he'll just have to content himself with his Paul Harvey-esque radio show.

What is extreme is a matter of opinion. One person's extremist is another's hero. For example most on the right considered Obama extreme...but you probably don't. Extremists have been in power since year 2000, imo.
