What's the harm in letting Johnson participate in this debate if you're CNN? It's going to take time away from talking to clowns like Pawlenty and Lubefeces?

Fucking joke.

I agree, especially this early in the election process. He should be allowed to participate.

These debates are for American citizens only.

NO. NEW. MEXICANS!

This is really ridiculous, there is no justification for excluding a man with his credentials this early in the process.

You all didn't debate over him either. I started a thread about the guy a long time ago, and no one even responded. :sulk:

I assume they based the field on a certain polling threshold in a specific poll, but I don't know for sure.

Deciding who can participate using early polling is silly since profiles can be raised, or not be raised, by allowing unknowns in the early debates.

It's called a bot.

What do you suppose its purpose might be? It has posted in a small number of threads. It doesn't seem to be soliciting any action from us. Is it here to gather information in some way?

I could read some of my own posts four times and they'd still make no sense to me.

They can also be raised by holding rallies, buying ads, shaking hands, making news, and many other things that candidates do. The debates can't be the first point where the field gets winnowed.

Orange will argue with it and post something he found at HuffPo about Bots.

'Merica has the "illusion" of choice when it comes to politicians.

"They" decide who the candidates are gonna be... and then "They" choose the winner.

You gotta love electronic voting machines and corrupt politics.
