There is something disturbing about this woman. She is clearly delusional yet she is the head of the Democrat Party.

When Bush took office:

Unemployment: 4%
Debt: 5.727 trillion
Gallon of Gas: $1.75

So, I guess Bush did worse in two of the three despite inheriting a better economic situation than the one he handed to Obama.

Anyone that thinks Bush inherited anything but crap is smoking something illegal.

I wonder how great Clintons term looks when you take the fact that everything that drove his economy ended up being a complete disaster, Enron (Fueled the spike in power companies), MC Worldcom (Fueled Telecom and telecom component companies boom and were dismantled for falsifying earnings), Internet Bubble (Bunch of investors dumping money in companies that never had a chance to succeed.), and finally the beginning of day trading (when people finally realized that all the reasons for the huge stocks going up were lies, this disappeared as well).

Good luck to anyone starting off with that mess.

I can't believe that (according to the cited poll) 40% approve of the way the economy has been handled. Who are these 40%, and why do they think that?

And then the country gets hit by 9-11 his 2nd year...

Bush did a remarkable job restoring the economy from the hand he was dealt, despite his penchant for spending way too much.

The President and CONGRESS aren't getting it done. In the past 2 1/2 all they've done is increase the debt and utterly failed to spend less than we take in.

Yes, but that also means they didn't go over budget.

See, there is always a bright side.

These are the folks that are still patiently waiting for Obama to buy them a house.

I would suggest you're either a cynic, socialist or a loser.

Why don't you go to Cuba, North Korea, India or rural China and you'll see some real suffering.

STFU AND STFD

Why don't you take a look at the numbers when the Democrats swept to power in 2006?

Unemployment rate in January 2006, when the Democrats took over congress, was 5.4%.

December of 2005, the last month that the Republicans controlled congress, set a record of 52 consecutive months of job creation.

Gas was $2.15 per gallon.

Obama said uncertainty over raising the debt ceiling - currently capped at $14.3 trillion - was one of several factors that have contributed to an economic slowdown and weaker job creation.

He also listed natural disasters, high gas prices, state and local budget cuts and the fiscal crisis in Greece.
