What do we imagine Cassell's trade value is, as of today (assuming there is a season)?

Cassel going nowhere so just drop it.

I'll go ahead and let out some huge news guys....

I'm trading a large(6'5 310 lb) illegal mexican I've had enslaved for for years and a bowl of some pretty decent weed for Cassel. He will paint my doll houses and watch reruns of "Boy Meets World" with me.

Some teams need a QB that has proven himself in the NFL (I believe that Cassell has proven himself to be at lest a starting QB in the NFL). So I would say a high 2nd (maybe a low 1st).

If I'm the GM trading for him, he's worth a 5th as a very solid back-up. Real NFL market value is probably in the low 1st, high 2nd-round range somewhere. Lots of teams would kill to have our brand of mediocrity.

Yes, Cassel has proven he is technically a starting QB in the NFL.

Wow. There are a lot of comedians around here and a pretty big range of Cassell's perceived value. I doubt very much we will ever find out, but it is interesting to think about. I kind of equate Cassell's value to that of Jake Plummer when the Broncos attempted to trade him in 2006. Different skill set, but about the same overall value. Anyone know what the Broncos were supposed to get for Plummer in that trade?
