I'll start it off with the song, Poor Edward, by Tom Waits. The song is based on a real life man born with a face on the back of his head. His name was Edward Mondrake. He hung himself at the age of 24.

Table Top Joe, another freakish song by Tom Waits. This song has absolutely nothing to do with a pool hall player, but rather the "Amazing Half Man" Johnny Eck who was born with half a body. He scored an acting role in the mythical movie, Freaks!

I picked up this CD from an odd little thrift store kind of place that has since closed down. I bought it for a dollar as a joke and it has almost given me a dollar's worth of entertainment. I laughed when I bought it, and I laughed again when I found it in the garage yesterday (several years later). That's not bad. You could call it a vegetarian feminist rap album I guess. Just a really weird collection. Here's one track that I found on Youtube:

One of the great one hit wonders of all time, Bloodrock with "D.O.A." from way back in 1971.
