I saw the DirecTV ad in yesterday's paper today and called to confirm that they are giving away NFL Sunday Ticket free with a 2 year contract.

Anyone else see this? Am I missing something? Seems like a hell of a good deal if they play the season.

I have it. You have to select one of their 2 premium packages.

***Shameless Plug***

I work for a sales/installation company for Directv and Dish and get paid for sales and can get any promotion you can get through the 800 number, but it also helps me out.

PM me if anybody wants to set up service and it would help me out.

We even earned a dealer credit that saves $5 a month over the 800 number price if you meet certain qualifications.

Hey there. That's a problem. You might want to pm Bob Dole and/or Bugeater.

Why do you want to start a new thread anyways, pal?

Because n00bs who want to start threads right off the bat are usually spammers.

Usually you have to earn the right to start threads...

Start a good thread.

We vote on if it was good enough.

If it passes our vote, we'll give you the right to start threads.

Wait, what?

Free NFL Sunday Ticket and the thread is dominated by thread-starting tech support?

Why does this seem like big news to me and ho hum to everyone else? Is this old news?

I've been considering switching away from Cox, and this would seem to be the final push for me.

Apart from Sunday ticket, the difference between dish and direct is minimal.

The free promo is only for new customers but if you have direct and aren't gonna order Sunday ticket I can probably save ya 30-35 bucks a month (first year) and around 20 second year over paying full package price through either company by switching from Directv to Dishnetwork. The retailer I work for sells both (I install both in eastern Iowa) and commonly flips customers from one to the other purely for cost.

Let me know, guys.

No, sorry guys. I'm a big Chiefs fan and am looking for some memorabilia that I haven't been able to find on eBay or at the Chiefs team store.

I'm looking for three different game day pins/lapels that I'm missing (Arizona, Buffalo and Oakland games). I'm sorry if I came off the wrong way, I just didn't understand the forum rules. And for what it's worth, no one else started out here with 500 posts off the bat either.

Yeah, you're a big Chiefs fan, but your first two posts here are about memorabilia and starting threads. Definitely not a spammer.

If anyone's getting DirecTV anytime soon, they have that referral promotion that gives you $100 in bill credits if you're referred by a friend. The friend would also get the $100 in bill credits. If you're down, I could be that friend. Message me if interested.
