The Marxists know what truly fuels capitalism thus producing a healthy economy but their worldview is to destroy capitalism in America and her Liberty and Freedom among We The People not to mention all around the world as well. This is what is so frustrating about all this "debt and spending" BS that the Marxist Dems try to spin.

As will the "left". I'm not above a good shit slinging fest and you wouldn't be either if you were.

So we had 8 years of Bush trying to lower taxes and then....

And both in October, and both left on a Democratic presidents doorstep. I guess what they say about history repeating itself might be true.

It was nearly impossible to NOT have a balanced budget when the dollar was tied to gold. When Hoover devalued the dollar by 40%+ (overnight) by confiscating gold it was easy to spend more than you had. When gold was completely taken out of the picture in 1971, well, here we are.

Bernanke would like to be able to repeat what was done in the 30s, but that can only happen once and can never be repeated. He's trying like hell to devalue the dollar now, but it's only showing up in higher fuel and commodity prices. When you're trying to devalue against other worthless world fiat currencies, it just doesn't work.
