The first thing that comes to mind is how rediculous the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy nominees list is. I really enjoy Modern Family, but four nominations from that show in the same category is absurd; especially when those nominations come at the expense of other, worthy actors. Parks and Recreation and Community got ZERO nominations in the supporting actor category! No nomination for Donald Glover, no nomination for Nick Offerman. Ugh.

My votes off of this ballot:

Amy Poehler
Steve Carell
Julie Bowen
Ty Burrell
Parks and Recreation
Elizabeth Moss (though I really want to see Connie Britton win this also)
Jon Hamm
Margo Martindale
Andre Braugher
Friday Night Lights (Mad Men will, and probably should, win. But that show has won 3 straight year already, so I'm voting to recognize the best network drama ever).

Nice. The Dink and Louis C.K. both getting nominations, and deservedly so.

Probably the best show on the networks, Think The West Wing without all the Sorkin tics, inside pool without the walk and talk or the relentless talking about 'the thing' without mentioning what 'the thing' is.

12 Glee
11 Downton Abbey (Masterpiece), Too Big To Fail
10 American Idol, The Kennedys
9 83rd Annual Academy Awards, Cinema Verite, The Good Wife

Having a slew of categories almost entirely to itself, always happens with miniseries. Last year was Temple Grandin

Because I worked with him on the show...which got cancelled....but it wasn't his fault....JACKIE EARLE HALEY as Guerrero in "Human Target" There's a reason Scorsese, Tim Burton, and now Spielberg want him in their movies.

Alright for Peter Dinklage! I hope he wins. I haven't seen most of those shows, but I really like Game of Thrones and he was great as Tyrion.
