Say you're down about something, being hard on yourself, or just plain pissed off. What are some songs that you typically listen to that you need to hear, speak to you, or just make you feel better?

I don't listen to music if I feel pissed off, I shoot firearms. I always feel better after letting some lead fly. Try it!

Comfortably Numb.

Good choice... after some mind-numbing family drama/conversation over the weekend, I drank beer and watched Live in Gdańsk on Palladia. If I smoked pot, I totally would have done that, too.

Any song that Mercedes, Bubbles or Candi dance to.

Hey luv,

This song always picks me up when I'm feeling blue:
<iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6Yo5zVdKFCY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

"I search for personality and I look for things I cannot see
Love and peace flash through my mind; pain and hate is all I find
Find no hope in nothing new and I never had a dream come true
Lies and hate and agony; thru my eyes that's all I see"

It really puts things in perspective.

The sweet music that resounds when you envision breaking a bat or ax handle or fence post or something upside the head of the being who caused you to feel this way.

Usually works for me.

I don't listen to music. When I need greater focus or to alter my mood, I find shutting sound out completely with earplugs is the best way for me. And the busier I am the happier I am. As they say, idle hands are the devil's playground, and I find that if I spend too much time playing games or watching TV, my mood shoots down.

Best thing I've ever done in my life to beat depression had nothing to do with medication or music. It's an internal problem and I've found internal solutions work the best. Exercise, work, feel like I'm doing something worth something. Because that's ultimately where my bluer moods come from - not sleeping, being lazy, and generally not taking care of myself.

Anytime friends and me had hard times and struggle in India, we would play this song 'Unconditional Love' by 2pac. Beautiful music
