Do the weather reports give actual temperature any more? Is the Heat Index a plan by the Pro Global Warming media? To put it in your head that its hotter outside?

It's Obama's fault. Had he left the front door open at the White House then he would have cooled down the whole outside.

The heat index was invented in the 70's. It is valuable because high humidity in a hot day really does make it feel hotter. (high humidity interferes with the body's ability to cool itself with evaporating perspiration)

It's been brutal here...humidity and heat. Just going from my door to my car I am soaked and exhausted.

The anti global warming community is fighting back with winter wind chill.

I couldn't believe Rush was ranting about this. Must have been a slow day. I haven't lived in the Midwest for over 15 years now, but I can still remember during the especially hot summers they always gave you the heat index reports, just like in the winter, they always gave you the chill factor reports.

Now its part of the conspiracy! Be scared! Vote Republican!

We've had dozens of 105+ days this summer where the Heat Index was 2-4 degrees cooler
