No American lives lost, just a few billion spent. Now that's the way to topple a rabid dictator! The Republi way? Thousands of American lives lost, trillions of dollars spent, Iraqi "nation building," bring America to the brink of bankruptcy. Lucky for us we did this the Obama way instead!

U.S. officials: Gadhafi could be planning a 'last stand'

Tripoli, Libya (CNN) -- Embattled Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi may be making preparations for what is described as a "last stand" in Tripoli as a months-long NATO air campaign continues amid reports of rebel advances, according to two U.S. officials.

"We believe he could be planning for a last stand," one U.S. official said.

A second U.S. official confirmed a similar concern and said the Gadhafi plan could involve a final military offensive against civilians, launched from his last major strongholds around the Libyan capital.

State Department spokesman Mark Toner said Friday that U.S. officials in Benghazi have been working with the Libyan opposition "on exactly what it's going to look like post-Gadhafi."

"Impossible to say when he'll go, but it's clear that he will go," Toner told CNN's Brooke Baldwin.

Fierce artillery fire could be heard around Zawiya on Friday. Rebels took a major oil refinery there, said Hobab Jomaa, a rebel fighter. They were in control of the western part of the city, but battles continued in the eastern part, he said.

When asked when rebels might begin their move toward Tripoli, one fighter in Zawiya told CNN's Sara Sidner, "Two days, maybe by the end of the week."

As far as the money portion, it isn't over so don't finalize those totals yet.

Does the "Obama way" include packing up and coming home once it's over, or will we be establishing a permanent military presence to defend once it's over?

Do you agree that the U.S. really hasn't been in the lead in this operation?

We will declare it the 51st state, obviously.

The Obama Way:

If a dictator who has been a long time ally faces popular unrest, call for him to go and stand by as his people put him in a cage for trial. If a dictator who has been a long time adversary faces popular unrest, stand by quietly for months hoping to talk about our differences.

If a country has voluntarily given up their nuclear weapons program, bomb them and call on their leader to step down. If a country obstinately pursues a nuclear weapons capability, all but take military action off the table.

Our friends can't trust an Obama-led America and our enemies don't fear him. Even in the case of Libya, Khadafy had nothing to fear until the French decided to do something about him.

How many nations really control the UN Jenson? Lol!

This has nothing to do with humanitarianism—it has to do with banksters creating a central bank for the opposition and control of oil because Gadhafi was about to create, coin and use his own new currency for trading oil. The Globalists couldn't allow that to happen when everyone must accept their counterfeit money as the reserve currency. Obama is owned by the banking cartel.

No. IIRC, the vast majority of assets that have been deployed are ours, we've flown the most sorties, etc.
