It's a pathway to another dimensions kitchen. Sorry if that dimension fails to meet your kitchen expectations.

Did you shut down and restart?

Is the computer hot? Maybe your video card is overheated and you are getting what is called artifacting.

Also, you should probably delete the she-male porn folder on your desktop before you screen cap it.

Could be a number of different things.

Your video cable could be partially unseated and/or dirty.
Your GPU could be on its way to dying/overheating.
Your screen could have an issue.

Probably #1.

Surfing porn in the kitchen is unsanitary.

A way to test this would be to try hooking up your laptop to an external monitor.

I know right? We do multiplayer. It can get intense.

Looks like you've got a color going out of your LCD display. Which would explain why you see it while physically in front of the machine, but don't when you do a screenshot.

It may be a connection between the LCD panel and the motherboard, or it may be the LCD failing...

My previous crappy laptop started to show weird pixel-thick colored lines about 3 years into its life. Maybe your screen is just starting to burn out.

Is that something you can have Best Buy fix?

Where did you purchase from? If it's less than a year old like you surmise, I'd take it back there.

Best Buy might offer that kind of service if it needs replaced, but you'd likely pay half the price of the entire laptop purchase to do so.

I used to play Age of Empires 1 on the internet all the time. Got really good.

Then went to AOE 2 and played that a bunch, never really online except against my college roommate. He was bragging how bad he would kick my ass and all that, so i brought my game from home and we did a LAN game.

Needless to say, when i rolled into his town with a gigantic army of Elephants, he was ill prepared for the damage I was prepared to do. LMAO

Oh for sure. And Empire Earth. I'm a big fan of the Sim Cities, City Life genre.

Probably the only game that I enjoyed more than Age of Empires was Caesar IV. Battles aren't great, but the city design/planning is beautiful.

Nice, Dawn of Discovery looks right up my alley. How'd this go under my radar? And why is it coming up at the start of the most stressful, busy year of my life so far?

I have to warn you, that game is very challenging and also very addicting. It also helps that is the most gorgeous looking city-building game ever.

clean the vents regularly and use a laptop cooler with fans.

Strangest damn thing. I took it to my school's IT guy. He said all the settings were right and send it to HP. I went back, did an HP tune-up. Shut it down. Four hours later, it's back to normal.

Your IT guy was being lazy and/or didn't want to deal with you.
